Here's a thread for interesting connections between RE and other media.

Would you believe Resident Evil is connected to Beetlejuice?
well it is.
In 1989 there was a cartoon based on the movie Beetlejuice. The main character Lydia was voiced by Alyson Court.
Alyson played Yoko in the outbreak games, AND played a character very important to the series.
I'll give a hint "You lose, big guy!"
