Can someone guide me towards some modding tools for Resident Evil? I'll collect them on my file hosting service, then have them up here for eternity so it's easier for people to find them.

Nova Software Extractor (http://rapidshare.com/files/76505942/novasoft.rar) You can open RE2's .SAP files with that one. .SAP Files contain a .wav File with background music or sounds

I found out that they used the following to make the N64 version

Visual SlickEdit = C++ source code editor???
gcc = C++ compiler???
Debabalizer = ???
Softimage = Used to create fmv.

Do you know how to extract or decompile binary files because the cpac_models.bin file which you get after unpacking deadly silence is just the Enemy folder made into one file.

No, sorry i have no idea. I only know how to edit the .bin files found in the DATA/DATU/DATP folder in RE2 for PC. They're nothing else than .tim files that are merged to a single file.

I can also recommend TimViewer, it helped me a lot when Yu Ri wasn't able to do what i wanted without problems ;)
