I'm assuming this is what Payton was talking about in the pod cast last week, a surprise that he was happy that hadn't leaked public yet. This is probably been in the planning for quite a while. Hopefully Konami/KojiPro or Ubisoft will put it that video on the PSN when it returns in a couple of weeks, or at least make a website with it on.

I'm still reeling from the jump between cinematic and what appears to be gameplay. No idea if thats how the game will actually be when it comes out, but if it is... holy crapola. The middle bit with the Gekkos was just crazy.

Woah. I'm praying that the cutscenes and gameplay will be seamlessly integrated as shown in the vid.

On that note, I'm not sure if I want to swallow the $85 MSRP for the LE. I'd rather have the JPN VA so I might import a bit later.

Greatest April Fool's ever. Kojima owned April 1st this year. I'm guessing this spawned from Kojima's meeting with Jade Raymond at E3. Also amazing to finally see the Gekko's in action in something other than a cutscene/styilized gameplay. They fixed the weapon models in FPV too, they no longer look like plastic and aren't constantly glued onto the screen in one position. Sound is even better than we've heard previously, and the animations have been re-tweaked. And no more horrible post-processing filters. =D

And it also pretty much confirms Altair's clothing as an unlockable.

Hmm, you're right. I didn't notice that to begin with.

I kept checking GameTrailers because I knew the Mark Macdonald connection would see a better quality version appear there eventually.

Going back to the comment, I think the joke went on too long yeah... but it was nice seeing that much gameplay from the first stage.

The podcast on 1up with Shane, who played it in Japan's boot camp, said the scenes shown in it are during the first act of the game and show the first in-game appearances of the Gekko's... oh and it more or less is as shown, with the folow of cutscene to gameplay only shown by a short movement in camera angle.

You have to beat the game with assassin emblem to unlock this skin. Does anyone know if this skin have some secret propertys (like Big Boss mask makes all soldiers scream like little girls) or is it just for fun?
