Shitload of cables and adapters totaling 60$ so I can hook my devices up to my television AND my computer at the same time. Only downside is the quality loss, Its nothing major but it makes the computer very un-saturated. Its an easy fix though. I love my saturation plugin! This is great. My HD's barely break a sweat while recording too!

well, i just bought another car making it a total of 3 "driveable" and 2 non running....

anyway, this time its a 1996 Volvo 850(4) R with a 2.3l turbocharged 5cyl with 240 hp with 133k miles for the partly sum of only $9,995 the R model is
prettymuch the rarest of the 850's (other then the 1995 T-5R's which this car is but isnt) this car is one of 1200 or so exported to the usa. and is only one of 2 originally sold in NEPA between 1995 and 1997 here at a rediculas for 1996 price of $42K.

Picked up a Cingular SIM card as well, so now once I get everything I just gotta run to their store and buy a ripoff plan woo hoo! I also got an ACE bandage for my horrible arm so I dont look like a wierdo now when I go outside XD. They make these partially latex ones which adhere to themselves. Really nice bandage and it does the job well. Oh and uh.. two 24 packs of water and two 12 packs of snapple....Just thought Id mention em while Im on the subject of purchases. I also installed my gamecube into my gold ICEDCUBE case. RREALLY nice case if you have a chip, it has a port in the back for your USB dongle. Super nice quality too!

Good, you bought a 1080p one. I woulda cried if you paid that much for a 720p tv...(oh, while most HDTV's say they can do both 720p and 1080i, its only really one of the other, CRT's do native 1080i and upscale and interlace everything, while Plasmas and LCDs downscale 1080i and deinterlace it ;))
I am glad for you, its quite a nice TV and will definately make PS3 look good as hell^_^

I can't wait for FED tv's...those things will rock for us gamers...

Oh, and get a DVI-D ->HMDI cable! If you have a nice gfx card, games will look like teh shizzie :)

Yeah you can buy Resident Evil 4 on Ebay but you'll pay a lot more than that on there. I got those games from a shop in town. They sell all Gamecube games for &#163;4 each, plus have a buy 2 get 1 free offer on at the moment, so that works out at around &#163;3 each, or &#163;2.66 each to be precise.

I do have 2 copies of Resident Evil 4 now. I got it on launchday, brand new for &#163;5 :lol:
Game were doing a deal on specific games at the time, trade in ANY 4 games(other than football or wrestling games) and you could get it for just 99pence. I had 4 games that i'd picked up for &#163;1 each so i traded those in, so grand total = &#163;4.99 :D
I actually sold that copy recently when i bought one of the limited edition Black & Platinum Resident Evil 4 Gamecube consoles, which came with a new sealed copy of Resident Evil 4 and a special Resident Evil collectors disc. It cost me &#163;55 new, and i sold my old Purple Gamecube and old copy of Resident Evil 4 for &#163;55. So it was just like a straight swap really :)

Have you played it with a game that isn't set on that? About 35 of my 50 or so gamecube games support it, but only 15 say it on the back. I believe every game made by nintendo supports it, even the launch games, except the pikman games. I dono why, considering they are really good. I was pissed like hell that Killer 7 didn't support it, considering that woulda made about half of the dot crawl go away. Ooh, Soul Caliber 2 is gorgeous when played in 576p. I would have to say that since I have to stretch RE4 to make it look normal on my personal HDTV to make it true widescreen, it makes a couple artifacts if you go up close, so its not as good looking on my tv than say SCII, as SCII supports widescreen, or at least widescreen orientation.
And you may have read 50 gcn games, yes, i am crazy:D , though most are the cream of the crop, consisting mainly of 1st and 2nd party titles, with the best of the 3rd party titles. I really wanna snag those RPGs tho... - _-

what kindof TV you got? If it is a widescreen it should have some sort of option for stretching the botom and top of the video to get rid of that. It may be a zoom function, something in the aspect ratio selection, or a "theatre mode" setting as its called on My family's toshiba.:waga waga

Yeah thats what i've always done with Resident Evil 4, just use the Zoom function on my Sony Widescreen and its perfect.

I would have much prefered it if they'd added a proper Widescreen option though, like they did with the PS2 version.

In fact, i'm suprised at the amount of games that still don't come with Widescreen options these days. Surely Widescreen Tv's are pretty standard now. They don't even sell the old 4:3's anymore...

ya they do dude. At least in america. All tv's under about 23" are 4:3 from what I have seen. Both tube and LCD.

As for not including a proper WS, ya. I think they shouldof just remade it a bit (like adding true widescreen) and included a better (graphic wise) version of the extra Ada thing that was on the PS2. IT could be like "RE4 Plus!" or sumpin :)

The black bars in RE4 (GCN) are just that, black bars. The game really runs in 4:3. However my guess is they took the time to properly make the game widescreen in PS2 because of the framerate. Cutting off that much % of the screen reduces a lot of rendering ;)

Purchased a Zune. At first I didnt like it all that much but its grown on me. Its got a nice casing on it which feels very sturdy and slip resistant (as well as scratch resistant). Headphones are pretty nice on it as well :)

EMS is too expensive for asian buyers I believe. even their countries' EMS are not cheap.

you don't really understand, register mail contains the full real name of the buyer and the full real address. even if they claim not receive the items, just show the card, and find buyers' details.

but it is not fine if the buyer gives a fake address or fake name, but if the card is send back to Dot50Cal, the receiver must / should have signed the register mail, or else dot50cal can also get the item back, cheaper than EMS.

only those who have no brain tells people that register mail (address and name) can't prove the buyer collects items. don't forget, if the item name or address doesn't match, (the person not on address also won't let they take item) D50C can also get the item back thru post, I believe ebay/paypal isn't idiots.

Speaking of demos, the demo contained in the Biohazard 2 Value Plus for Code Veronica is quite nice, it has a Sound Museum and a bunch of other things.

And Birkin, it will most likely boot. But if it doesn't, I suggest downloading the Action Replay boot disk, works like a charm for me on more games than the usual Utopia disk. There's also a Gameshark one if i'm not mistaken.

Currently no. It's p*ssing it with rain right now and I don't want to get wet outside taking photos of it lol. However I will be getting some taken ASAP, since it is one hell of a machine. I rode it home, and sheesh. It took me half an hour, and the guy I bought it from lives 70-odd miles away from me. I didn't even notice I was speeding.
