If you search Japanese auction sites for Biohazard items you`ll be amazed at what you find. There were many metal keys, figures, weapons included in magazines. Not to mention all Airsoft Guns, it`s not like final fantasy, mgs or gran turismo have such items.

I think what Chris was trying to explain was that you will see a lot more material on RE5 this year (and you will), not necessarily that it's coming out in 2008. As for when in 2008 you'll learn more? Logic would dictate it will be around our media events (we have one scheduled toward the end of the 1H of the year but I won't say exactly when) or other trade functions (e.g. E3, Liepzig, TGS).

As for Surfer Girl's predictions, I predict you're setting yourself up for great disappointment if you listen to her (I mean him).

Surfergirl schreibt ebenfalls, dass das Spiel am 13. April diesen Jahres in den Handel kommen werde.

Da es bis jetzt keine offizielle Bestätigung seitens Capcom zu diesem Spiel gibt, bleibt es vorerst ein Gerücht.

Capcom have said for about a year now that the game WOULDN'T be out in 2008. Also this doesn't mean just 2008, it's the FINANCIAL YEAR, which probably takes it into early 2009, probably March or April.

As I recall, rambling was that it won't be out in the 2008 FY and that was a while ago. Nevertheless, even if the game is ready to go gold in October, I think the chances of them releasing the game this year is slim.

Both the 360 and PS3 have a full lineup this fall, and I don't think Capcom will want to share the market with anyone with such a big title. A Jan. release ala RE4 GC or LP is more likely. The Feb release of DMC4 served them really well (they expected to ship 1.5 million only, but they're over 2 million now).

It can't be. Be 72 hrs is only 3 days, whereas it is about 6 more days to the trailer EST.

In 60-so more hours, the site will get updated with every trailer/footage embedded in there, all screenshots and the information, with wallpapers and the NEW trailer(once it's out, that is, but they'll put a teaser of some sort beforehand).

Similar to what they always do when a NEW RE game is coming out. Only this time it seems it'll be something more special.

Yeah, there are alot of licensed gambling games like this. There was a Devil May Cry 3 one too. There are also film ones too. I've seen Batman begins, as well as an Alien V Predator one too.
I saw a licensed Super Mario coin game (but not a slot machine), in Sega world, which was made by Capcom :uhh: I'll try get a pic of it.

There are even magazines dedicated to pachinko and slots and stuff. Today it just struck me that I should check them out asap, to see if there is anything on the biohazard machine in those.

The promo DVD for the machine actually shows off the games bonus modes and stuff, as well as pics of the machine. I haven't seen any here in Japan yet. But when I do I want to try playing it.

In one of the screenshots, I could swear there was a tentacle or something coming out of a similar crack in one of the villager's arms. Perhaps it's a side effect of the parasite?

It should be noted that some of the animations aren't final on the parasites. Theres some scenes which show the "mouth" parasites coming through the guys chin and such.

Just a guess, but as the parasite grows it can probably pop out of various places. It comes out the mouth because it starts in the stomach and that's the easier access, but I imagine it starts taking the body over rather like creepers in piping. If it needed large ammounts of water it would explain the cracks in folks skin.

But yeah. The end boss is likely, as usual, to have more tenticles than a Japanese school girl can scream at.

Civil wars are what make Africa, Africa. Weapons dealers are a dime a dozen, expecially in countries where the government is the military or where they took over by over-throwing the previous head of state (coup d'etats, political assassination, etc). The weapons's dealer, might just be a weapon's dealer. Ever see Lord of War? (great movie, btw)

At least from a gameplay perspective, I kind of hope not. I'd rather not be able to access a weapons shop anytime, anywhere from the pause menu. I'd much prefer they keep it like RE4 where you meet with him at preset locations.

Having said that, I would like to see a similar upgrade system added to RE5. Keep the system they used in RE4 where you could upgrade the amount of ammo, damage, reload speed, etc, but also add attachment options like silencers, scopes, flashlights, grenade launchers, etc. RE4 had a few attachments available, but I'd certainly like to see some more options aside from scopes and stocks.

The influence of Black Hawk Down is even more evident. I'm wondering... if the dots are indeed the termal signals of every enemy, then, is every enemy already loaded on the map or is just a placeholder to when you come closer warp the data where is requred? And, what about if we killl every enemy? is the game to place new dots in the map everytime we acces to it?... I don't know, in no other game we were capable to know where were the enemies, that's what makes it impredictable =/
