You posted the motion actor interviews that were done by resident evil realm. The Sheva Alomar interview I posted is from biohaze and that one was not included with the others you had posted. There are a lot of MA interviews that were done lately, so I think some of you may be assuming that we "news posters" are actually reporting the same interviews over and over again, but if you just take a look at each post, then you will see that they are in fact new. That's why I watch every single thing, so we don't miss anything. Yeah, I do realize that the biohaze making of 5 was old, it was pushed back so fast, that's how I missed it. Sorry.

wait, that is probably the UK-only release data, becouse for example:
in Italy, Degeneration DVDs and B-rays will be available on hire on December 30, and then on February 3rd available in stores;

Thank fuck for that MGS4 was a pain the ass especially if you wanted to quickly play online where you had to dl a ton of updates, they should re-release it as special edition where online is just on one disc but they'll probably just close the servers instead. imo all online games should also have the ability to played via LAN so if the servers do at one point in the future go offline you can still use systems like http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ to play online with other users, I had to buy Outbreak and MGS3 just when servers decided to go down didn't I ;-(.
Also all installs should be optional like outbreak.

Actually, it won't be too senseless to feature Hunter alpha in the RE3 scenario, just like it wouldn't be weird if Jill/Carlos encounter some lickers while they escape from RC. But like you said they just probably replace the RE3 Hunters with the REmake/Zero Hunters due to laziness.

Just read that Resident Evil Director's Cut (English version) has been on the Canadian PSN store for PSP, since last Thursday!
I assume it can also be played on PS3. I'll have to make a Canadian PSN account to confirm this.

According to Sony's official website, reported via Kotaku, 2 different PS3 demo discs will be avaliable from Dec 18th - colored Red and White.

The white disc includes a playable demo of Resident Evil 5.

Not sure what this potentially means for any downloadable demo off the PSN, but I do have to note the same disc has playables for MGS4 and MGO which are already downloadble so I don't expect this disc to be the first place to see the demo. Might be a good indication that the PSN version of the demo will arrive around the same time.

I just got an e-mail from Capcom Euro PR about a new RE5 site... followed by a second one saying there was technical problems holding the site up (ie. an incorrectly spelt link it seems).

Clicking the link and putting in a suitable age will take you to a page with a torch and scribbles on a wall, mostly saying "They are in Kijuju" - but there are references to the series scribbled in places and 5 numbered areas (1-5), the 1st of which you can only click on at first and it needs a password. The general cynic in me believes that each 1 is relevant to each of the numbered titles in the series (1-5), but then again I found a couple of random codes scribbled in places.


Capcom has just opened the interactive borders of Kijuju with the launch of www.residentevil.com/kijuju . This section of the official RE5 website will be home to unique content, not available elsewhere, including reward based content for sharing Kijuju’s secrets. Initially some content may only be accessible with a password.

Hmm..."Wesker is a liar!" could possibly indicate that he had seized control of Kijuju, acted as a sort of political savior, and then bit by bit started implanting the people with the P-virus/Plaga hybrid (if that is indeed what the viral MacGuffin is). A villager (not yet turned) or two got wise to his misdoings but by that time it had been too late. Just throwing it out there.

Now, we know that the megaphone majini isn't the big cheese, so that's where Wesker comes in I suppose. "Kijuju is OUR territory" probably indicates the BSAA intervention.

Or possibly Wesker's not in on this little outbreak, given that he isn't supposed to have a real Master Plagas sample and Ada's other employers do..and that other employer may be Tricel. But if he isn't behind the outbreak it is somewhat possible that he tried to gain control of the town and they turned against him, and so he manipulates Chris and the BSAA to go in and cause a big enough distraction that he can get in and grab whatever it is he needs with none the wiser he was there.

Just read that Resident Evil Director's Cut (English version) has been on the Canadian PSN store for PSP, since last Thursday!
I assume it can also be played on PS3. I'll have to make a Canadian PSN account to confirm this.

An update on this news I posted last month.
It seems this was actually true and not BULLSHIT.
RE Director's cut appeared on the Canadian PSN for PSP only but was very quickly removed because it didn't work (I don't think it even booted up :uhh: ).
Some people got it before it was taken down and others have it on their download list.
I'm not too fussed about it as I'm happy with the Bio version on my PS3 but I know many would like the RE version on their PSP and PS3. This all seems very weird...

Destructoid has posted a rather lengthy preview of the RE5 demo from the recent Capcom event. There isn't really anything we haven't already seen or read, but they do mention that they were told players will be able to choose which side of the screen Chris and Sheva are on. Whether this means you'll be able to switch from left to right and vice versa with the press of a button ala MGS4 or Uncharted, or if it will be something you'll have to change in the Options menu, remains to be seen.

I thought I'd post it, though, since this is the first time I've heard about it.

At Playasia, the RE5 'collectors edition' can now be pre-ordered for PS3/360.
It's $109.90, nearly double the price of the standard version ($64.90). However, the contents are still a mystery. At that price it would want to be more than just a tin case and soundtrack!
The 'limited', 'deluxe' and 'e-capcom' editions have not been priced yet.

However, I noticed that Amazon also have the 'Resident Evil 5 Limited Edition Collector's Guide: The Complete Official Guide (Hardcover)' for only $17.79. That's much cheaper than Playasia too. And I can order that from here in Australia. I think I'll do that soon. :)
Maybe it's only different from the regular guide because of the 'hardcover' but it's still worth getting IMO.

I usually check Playasia first because often their prices are very good. I've saved a lot of money buying some games from there.
