Wouldnt PC? PC _ports_ are always worse because developers have to keep in mind tons of various and not so-so-so-top hardware. For me, PC games arent good at all (unless you play some RPG or strategy) for the same reason as porting. This is what consoles are for (to play games, of course, sonny).

I find PC games to be more enjoyable than many console games. The higher resolutions and higher res textures make the games look great. Of course you get the bad ports but thats not the PCs fault its the damn devs fault. They could so easily port many of the xbox's games to the pc but they dont want to make the extra effort...

But alot of those games arne't calibrated to work on a keyboard and mouse set up. Even though it's happening, DMC3 isn't quite a keyboard and mouse game methinks.

Why wouldnt it? Its just pre-rendered backgrounds with high poly models similar to Outbreaks. I think it would look fine, especially since you get a near 3x disc space to play with :)

Not so sure about that, the load times would probably be twice as long. And from what I recall reading a lot of the technology developed for those games was created along side Nintendo themselves, I do believe the game would probably look great as far as PS2 goes but a lot of detail would certainly be lost. I remember reading how they had problems with the pre rendered backgrounds as some of them are actually pre rendered videos (or perhaps to the equivalent type of a gif image?). I don’t really know that much about them, I remember having some lecture about them (obviously not the type that was used in the game, but still). And even the still pre rendered frames are interactive in certain places as to react to light and such. And in Zero they would probably experience problems attempting to recreate the leach effect on PS2 hardware.

But with all that in consideration Capcom are smart people, can never doubt them as a developer. But I certainly don’t think it would be as simple as porting it over.

I’m not really that bothered if they port them all, I will certainly buy them but I doubt they will do anything to change the experience. I wonder what Mikami is thinking about during all this.

I wouldn't mind getting the Resident Evil's for PS2. right now Resident Evil 1 is the only game I have and have had for gamecube since I owned it for 2 years. Someday I'll get RE0 for it.

Well I can't really help you if you're not in the US. I think I heard you were in Russia or something. The stores around here in NJ have been selling new ones for REALLY cheap. I've seeen used ones go for as little as 30-45, and brand new ones for under 90.

Just about any independent game store that is in an area near name stores that it has to compete with is almost guaranteed for cheaper prices, anywhere from $40-60, even for new ones.

Find an independent store in an area with regular franchise game stores and you're bound to find them for much cheaper.

A company creates a budget list each year, this list usualy goes like March/April 200X -> March/April 200Y

And in some cases, other companies deal with publishing for certain companies, maybe not everywhere, but in atleast some regions.

For titles from Company X that Company Y are to publish, they're depending on getting the names/titles + evt. come to an agreement/understanding on what estimated sales for these should be and such so a budget plan for the publisher can be set up for their budget too, as they need to deal with the marketting and publishing of this title for a specific target area.

An error in such a list should not accour, and if it's there, it should be corrected as soon as a revision comes out or in cases of doubt/possible errors, the right people must be contacted to make sure that the list is indeed correct, as even the smallest error such as a releasedate mix-up or a console misplacement could lead to big economical problems for the company, both when it comes to estimated sales and to marketting budgets and plans.
