Nice ^_^ Although, I myself never sought to accquire the trading cards, I've always wanted to see them first hand. As a collector though, I'm content with the games, demos, and text material (guides, books, refference books, etc) :).
(Just alittle FYI the text links at the bottom of both pages link to the re4 demo page.)

Were the cards going to serve as some sort of game? I don't get the concept of zombies and other RE characters put into card format.
Mine as well remade L I F E resident evil theme.
Now that i would play :P

i've just found out about these cards, i didn't even know r.e had a card game out there in the world. i'm a collector for trading cards, so r.e themed would interest me, i may have to look around for a set or somthing. Does anyone know how it's played, like is it like pokemon or trumps etc

Its not a game, isnt that kind of obvious from the feature? Look at the card pictures themselves. How would you play a game with them?

you could create a RPG with them, create your own stat board and ect... only joking.... ahahaha

my bad, they remind me of a wwe card collection that came out a few years ago. But still they look quite good. i really want a r.e card game to come out now. And btw i didn't read the feature, explains why i didn't know, i guess i got too excited :(

Dot50Cal

Not at retail obviously. Im sure they pop up from time to time on ebay and such.

How much would a whole set cost? (There are only BH2 ones I see correct?). I'm slow >_> I haven't heard of these before until now.

there go for £60-£90 it looks like but there sets withouth the moving cards so for a 100% set maybe £100-£110 but thats on ebay, the most expensive place sometimes to buy stuff.

Don't forget cheapest! :D
It all depends on who you buy from! :P

Wow, what a waste of paper. This is pretty sad for RE fans.

Maybe. But it's still an official collectable.

I know my brother has some playing cards that are hollographic and are meant to be used in card games. They came in a set of 60 and have all characters from bio1/bio2. Even came with giant RPD/Umbrella stickers.
Helegad
04-14-2008, 07:54 AM
Does your brother still have them? They'd probably fetch a nice price on eBay.
FeurMensch
04-14-2008, 05:54 PM
Yeah we still have them, 3 sets to be exact.
Helegad
04-14-2008, 09:08 PM
Shit... I'd say about $200 a pop.
FeurMensch
04-14-2008, 10:31 PM
why so much? We got them for $24 a set. Oh wait, you think I mean the Wildstorm? These are made by Moby Dick Toys, not Wildstorn. But they are really rare though...
nemesis_lover
04-15-2008, 05:05 PM
you got any pics of them ? :o
FeurMensch
04-15-2008, 11:48 PM
Yeah, they are found on his site > HERE (http://www.zombie-x.com/upload/BIOHAZARD_TCG.rar)
Helegad

Why not $200? People will pay top-dollar for expensive collectible sets like that.

Is there such thing as a box that contains all 103 cards. Because a seller is selling one which is sealed, and has all 103 cards in. i was wondering it this was made towards the end of production in order to shift all the cards that weren't sold. So collectors can buy the card box in order to complete there collection at a faster but more expensive way.
FeurMensch
04-16-2008, 10:27 PM
Yeah there is the 103 one, but it costs $84 and that was too much. We just have 3 issues of Volume 1 of Biohazard1/2 TCG, 2 sealed and 1 open.

Oh ok so there is a 103 pack, thanks alot, also does this contain the promo card or do you need to get that seprate?
FeurMensch
04-17-2008, 12:14 PM
? Promo card? We just have the Moby Dick ones, not Wildstorm. The only Wildstorm one we have is a few booster packs and the Promo Leon.

04-17-2008, 01:05 PM
oh ok, just wanted to know if a 103 pack of wildstorm cards in a box was out there.
Dot50Cal
04-17-2008, 07:38 PM
There are no official box sets with 103 cards in it. The box (which is just the normal one given to retailers with packs inside) should probably contain more than enough to make a complete 103 set. I was left with 40 or so duplicates from a Japanese box set of the wildstorm cards. So I think you are set if you go for it nemesis.
nemesis_lover
04-18-2008, 05:59 AM
lol i ended up leaving it because i didn't know for certain if i'd get all 103, but it went for £90, would that of been too much to pay for one?
Helegad
04-18-2008, 06:41 AM
Only if you're not rich. I would probably wait until I've saved enough money.

A friend of our has a few decks and we may get them from him, we just don't know how much he wants for them...
Helegad
04-18-2008, 10:55 PM
He'll probably try to rip you off if he knows you collect this sort of stuff. Say it's just out of curiosity and you want to know what they look like.
FeurMensch
04-20-2008, 01:02 AM
yeah, I have only seen the Leon one since our other decks are sealed up still.

OK my brother snagged 2 sets of the Wildstorm cards from his friend for $35, he even threw in a mint/complete copy of Final Fantasy 7 since he didn't even want the game! I'd take picture but alas, there is another problem with our camera.
Helegad
04-27-2008, 08:17 PM
Lol, I hope you didn't pay much for them.
FeurMensch
04-28-2008, 08:32 PM
We only paid $35 for both sets and he gave us Final Fantasy 7 for free.

Seems like it's just a broken link on the feature page. You can access it properly by using the next/previous buttons on the entries before and after it.
Alternatively, just use this link (http://www.the-horror.com/imagedisplay.php?img=features/recards/028.jpg) to access it. (The URL in the feature article appears to be missing a 0.)
