Kinda disgusting to think that legitimate gambling sites and even regular YouTube accounts are on it

Australian internet filtering "blacklist" leaked

That blacklist was reported to be a false lead, I would recommend removing it considering some of the sites on that list would cause investigation. It's somewhat old news now, it was "released" a few weeks ago when a group of people decided to pull a bit of a prank, a couple of days after that list appeared online the Australian Classification and other Government sites were attacked and basically hacked into providing joke messages from a group (not necessarily the same group, mind you).
Now, the actual Government's national proposition for internet filtering from the IP Hosts/Internet Providers has been voted for protection against things such as child pornography and other criminal acts and the majority of IP Hosts are against filtering and/or blacklisting gaming sites among other things. I'm in favor of stopping those demeaning criminal acts, as long as it doesn't cut into what I'm trying to view - as I've already seen and dealt with the crappy quality of the Government's Department of Education's filters impacting any research or study in the school itself... I'm absolutely against something like that.
Surely, it is a point you're trying to make however I would have to agree with A-J on this - the list you posted wasn't exactly needed.Last edited by Enetirnel; 04-28-2009, 07:57 AM.
