Argh, I got a ticket on my way back from Ice's house! Such horse shit too!..Well I was speeding but there was this truck behind me doing about 85 ( I was doing around 75 in a 65 zone). He was right on my ass so I speeded up in order to get outta his way and into the slow lane (it was clogged) so I finally get around the cars and go in there.

The jerk off slows down though and he isnt passing me, so I go back into the passing lane and put her up to 75 again when this ass goes up again! He was right on me so I said fuck it and went up to 85 to get into the slow lane again.

As im doing that we go around a bend and wham, a frigging patrol car is there in the woods. I hit the brakes slowly, and look behind me to see if the ass was still there..Nope. He slowed down.

I see the patrol car going out onto the highway and knew it was either me or that guy. Luck would have it that he followed me into the slow lane and put his flashers on. fuck.

So now I got a god damn NY state ticket, I dont know how much it is yet since I guess you gotta mail these things in? wtf? lol Anyway does anyone here have any experience in this? How much of a fine am I looking at? Its 83MPH in a 65MPH zone. "Traffic Violation" as the cop put it (not a mis demeanor).

sucks ass man, but it could have been worse. I got a speeding ticket back in March doing 90. You know what a speeding ticket means don't you? Proof that your car doesn't suck. :D In all actuality, you're looking at a solid $150 for the ticket, and that sucks. But that guy COULD have been an ass and slapped you with a reckless endangerment charge for going 15 above the speed limit.

150, not bad. Im expecting the worst (something like 350$) so Im not surprised. I was just calm and cool when he approached and I didnt lie (I know they hate that). He did let me know that "In the 80's we issue a ticket" so he seemed kinda cool about it. Side note: Keep your hands on your steering wheel as soon as you get pulled over and only remove em when you have to get your information and when you do that let the officer know what you are doing. You dont wanna make things worse by having a nervous officer.

don't pay that shit. Don't support a tyranical and corrupt government. They won't do anything to you if you don't pay it. Unless you get pulled over again or someone calls the cops on you for something. Then again, maybe you should leave running from the cops to people like... well, me.


alternatively, you can wait until your court date and beg the judge to tear up the ticket (not that hard to get accomplished unless the judge is an asshole, either way go in with an ingenius story that's at least 50% full of shit, but is not verifiably fake, just a sad story about how you were rushing to see your mother in the hospital because she has cancer or something. You can probably get away with driving school (which would mean driving back up to NY for a day, but I'm pretty sure that's worth not having to pay over a thousand dollars...) or hell, you could get off with probation, which means don't get in trouble within the next 30-90 days and you're home free.

I know a lot about getting out of trouble. Because uh... I'm a... crim... uh.... LAWYER! That's it! Yeah I'm a LAW ABIDING LAWYER. That knows how to get out of trouble.

I finally got ahold of someone at the court house, the guy said that there must be some mistake as its a huge price. So he asked me to call back tommorow when the Judge who put the fine out gets in..So Im hoping hes right and its maybe 158 instead of 1058 lol.

Also I got it all cleared up..Turns out someone accidently put a 3 at the end of the 100, making it 1003 + surcharges. The Judge had a good laugh when I said the amount and she was really nice. So all is good and I can spend this god damn 380$ that Ive been saving up WOOO HOO!!!!!!! *almost throws up* oh god...My body does not like eggs in the morning..

That sucks..I can feel your lack of CS as well..Im on 56k (for the rest of august) and its not too bad but no way can I play the game...Been playing this Vampire Bloodlines game, which FUCKING RULES!!!!!11111111111111111 (Buy it) and I got COLD FEAR (Which came recommended by Ice but im begining to doubt that...cause the game kinda uh..sucks). Doom 3 expansion too so I got that to look forward to.

I just wish this place got more people..But I havent seen Ice around in a long long time, so Im assuming hes out working and stuff which sucks since he probably hasnt had the time to do anything for the site :(
