Favorite Silent Hill character.

Well after playing through a lot of the Silent Hill games i realized the series has a lot of well developed great characters. So who are your favorite Silent Hill characters overall?

I chose James Sunderland, Maria, Heather Mason and Vincent.

James is my favorite character overall though, because he has such a deep story and great development of his character in Silent Hill 2. I really felt for him.

Having only played SH1 my vote goes to Cybil Bennett, I wonder if they based the granny cyborg in Indigo Prophecy off Dahlia Gillespie.

I voted for Vincent. I just adored the way he messed with Heather's mind.

I know, she was such a great character, if only she had some more screen time though, she was only in a few scenes but i really liked her.

Heather, although I really like Maria. I actually kind of felt sorry for her just before the last boss if you're going for the Leave ending.

It's not really all that awful. It gave a lot more depth to his character, I thought. I mean, really. What was Harry's motivation? To find his daughter. Okay. That's normal. Heather's? She got caught in the middle of Claudia's crazy scheme to birth god. Henry? Kind of the same scenario as Heather...just with a crazy chainsaw wielding man who thinks his apartment is his mom.

James? He's basically flogging himself subconsciously for Spoiler:

killing his own wife

. Best part of the game for me was when he finally came to that realization. He's the only one out of the bunch who truly had a reason for the town to be calling to him.

As far as protagonists go, James is definitely my favorite. :3
