  • Guitar Giant Les Paul; Dead at 94

    I'm gutted: http://music.msn.com/music/article.a...5984&GT1=28102

Anyone who plays, has played, or will play a solid-bodied electric guitar owes everything to Les Paul. Not only did he invent it, but he could outplay even the most technical whiz.

A true innovator and legend; Les Paul is one of the greatest losses the music world has known or is likely to EVER know.

Thanks for the Guitars, Mr Paul! This is a sad occasion but your legacy shall live on through your instruments.

Holy shit... that's not good news.

He'll rock on heaven! Thanks for giving us the gift of electric guitar.

This is really sad. I remember learning about this guy in my music class years ago. He was amazing. He will be sorely missed.

ive owned a total of 11 gibson les pauls in my entire life, including 2 '59 les paul VOS. all i can say is that the les paul is the holy grail of guitars.
shall Les Paul's spirit live on through the guitar that made him famous, the '59 gibson les paul....
