UNLOCKING ALL PLAYABLE CHARACTERS FROM OUTBREAK

    AMERICAN VERSIONS ONLY (FOR NOW)

IMPORTANT: This code is often posted with an additional line that makes your PS2 crash. Stop posting this code with line 2031F1F4 FFFFFFFF, please. The Executioner's FAQ is largely innacurate ever since it was posted.

I wrote this for capcom unity and nearly got banned. To my surprise, cheat codes for hidden features are considered the same as passing around an iso of a game. So watch out.

    ----------

DISCLAIMER: I WILL BE UPDATING THIS THREAD AS I FIND MORE THINGS THAT WORK. THOUGH THESE ARE NOT MY CODES, IT'S EITHER VIRUSPUNK OR JARNOLD WITH POSSIBLY CMX WHO FOUND THE US ONES.AND BUNGHOLIO FROM CODESMASTER PROJECT I HAVE NO CLUE WHO MADE THE JAPANESE ONES, BUT I HAVE PROVIDED A LINK TO THE SOURCES I COULD FIND BACK. I AM VERY SORRY. If the Japanese master code doesn't work for you, I will try to find another one, I think I saved a bunch more in a file somewhere. If you cheat using older versions of pcsx2, you don't need a M code. I have no clue how to cheat in the brand new pcsx2 build, it just doesn't work.

GETTING AN EXTRA AI IN OUTBREAK

Should the extra AI survive, result points will increase accordingly.

The Extra AI will never appear in these scenarios, will likely survive: Underbelly
Will disapear somewhere along the way in these scenarios, will likely survive: Outbreak, Decisions Decisions.

File 1 does not let you chose or customize your partners as in File 2. However, full customisation of the AI is possible with the following value modifiers. Having multiple characters of the same type / class is possible as well, just like File 2. You won't be able to call for duplicate type partners but it works.

I wrote this for capcom unity and nearly got banned. Apparently, customising something you paid for in full, several times over, for your own entertainment is illegal.
Wait, what? So it is true that CAPCOM hates modders...

@Anyone working for CAPCOM that can read this - Get your head out of your ass and realize that modification of videogames furthers their replay value. It's not like people are modifying videogames, calling them their own creations and trying to profit from them.
    I'm a blackstar.

Most games company seem to have decided if you can't beat modders, join 'em. I'm sure Capcom will see the light eventually...

Nice codes though. I don't have either version, sadly, but I'm sorely tempted to grab an American copy and try these out...

Don't you lol at this. Being able to call a hidden function on or off with gameshark is going to allow me to release a brand new IP which will sell in the 100 thoulsands of copies and you know it. That mod just saved the company.

Any chance of a PAL version set of codes?

If not I may have to try my hand at DeltaMaker again.

That's all I know of: http://arcentral.net/Codes/PS2/Resid...File_2_PAL.php I don't know about AR but the costume changer digits don't look like AR Max codes and I would have no clue how to increment.

No clue about the surrounding details of his statement about being "nearly banned", but in general, when it comes to certain things, companies avoid them 'cause the methods required to utilize them (and because of how platform owners may not approve of said methods)

On the BC forums we've had a guy who's posted a tool for unpacking the the Diesel Engine's bundle format since Rearmed's release + documentation on how to edit text, add audio to text (someone was tossing around the idea of doing a fan-voice overs) and also a very basic level editor (for challenge rooms) and documentation / instructions on how to manually edit the title menu to support them.

Is that for File 1 or 2? I will update the first post, thanks. btw 3rd AI in US File 1 now has a functional code.

The mod was just doing is or her job. I was still surprised you can't post cheat codes. I'm also amazed as to why capcom didn't let offline people pick a supplemental AI if they wanted to. Considering the function works in both games.

It's for Outbreak File #2, I'm working on trying to convert for the first Outbreak now but I can't find a PAL Codebreaker code set to work with. I remember not too long ago I found a site with a very simple layout and a black background that had lots of PAL Codebreaker codes for Outbreak but for the love of me I can't find it again. Wish I saved those codes now but at the time I didn't need them.

I've tested the third AI on all stages and it seems to work fine on them all except Underbelly, I noticed on Underbelly that you always start with the first AI you picked and the second AI starts on the other side of the station. I think because of this and the fact that possibly the third AI has to start with you to load up means it doesn't appear in-game. The funny thing is you can still call the third AI with L2+right on the right stick and call their name with it showing up in all.

Desperate Times is a strange one, the room you start in has the third AI already there with you (you can tell by pressing start) yet the third AI doesn't actually appear for a good 5-10 seconds and when it does you will just see them run into screen, I've never caught them just appearing there.

It's better than File 1. The extra AI disappears in OB past pushing the cars. In DD, it disapears once Greg's dead.

In file 2, I believe they dissaper in Showdown past the first stage. I've had an AI follow me in Elimination 1, she was pretty useful. And anyone noticed how AI can die in dumb places? I killed both lionesses in WT Front Plaza. So I check back a while later and one AI was crawling in there.
