They're under the same mentality that there is no side-effect or problem, as long as money is being made. Short-sighted and will ultimately have major repercussions and doom everyone. The current economic turmoil is a prime example of China's level of thinking. As long as they're living in the "good times", they don't see a reason to end it even if the long-term benefits are great and much more rewarding than the short-term.

lulz again, that is perhaps the most appropriate label for them. While I'm not going to say anything about whether or not their "global warming" is happening, it should be clear to everyone that they are using the Green Agenda as a massive power grab on a global scale.

I've seen what the Nazi party was. I've seen pictures of the bodies, and read the reports. To see people trying to save the planet being labelled that, even though I somewhat disagree with some of the stuff? Irritating.

Socialists give a shit about there people. That's the whole point of socialism. Everyone is relatively equal, there pay based on there own effort and labour. That was never true in Nazi Germany.

My point is only you come in here as a one track record. You state your opinion; fine, but then you can't handle anyone else having something different - so you argue and then also start cracking out the label machine. Anyway, they can do whatever they want, if they want to be irresponsible, it's the lives of their own citizens they slowly take with all that pollution. They have yellow lifeless rivers, tons of cancers, smog everywhere, and some people in China don't know what a blue sky looks like. Soon when everyone is sicker and older the whole health system will collapse on itself and they won't be able to fix the worst environmental damages they have done because they won't have the money to do that.

And who can they blackmail? They want to pollute more? Then tax their exports. In just a few years they'll go back to the communist hellhole they were less than 2 decades ago. I don't worry too much, they can't live alone by themselves, it's thanks to the economic ties they have with the rest of the world that they develop their country. Let them bark.

As for China, I don't personally see them changing their stance anytime soon. The Chinese government isn't exactly forthcoming on a lot of things, and they'll find any excuse they can to stall or cancel any plans for genuine improvement.
