I collect action figures, not just Resident Evil. I have Star Wars and G.I. Joe as well as Beast Wars but I have no pictures of them taken yet. These pics are not so great.

Yeah, I got all of these except Mr. X, Cop Zombie, and the Claire on the far right back when they first came out. I also have all of the ToyBiz ones but no picture of them. Never did get any Moby Dick ones except for Chris and Tyrant.

Yeah, but it was worth it. 2ft of the best RE boss ever, you can't go wrong there. Actually it ended up being way cheaper than buying all the Moby figs and building him. Plus the paint is much better than on the BAF version.

And his one arm is actually move-able. The individual pieces one was made of hard PVC, and while it propped him up more it was basically unable to move.

I gotta say Palisades they're detailed, come with a large selection of accesories and have the best articulation by far. . .

At the same time NECA has great figures but the lack of articulation limits them to very few poses. The only ones I noticed that were far off in scale wer the Psade Leon and Claire. The rest are as you said acceptable. I still wanna see how the MD Nemmy sizes up with Jill. I still need to get my hands on the MD Nemmies Types 1 & 2. NECA needs to realize that RE3 Jill is one highly requested character. But Capcom has all the say, that must suck they spend all the money on the liscence and can;t even make what they want.

I'm not much of a toy collector but I think I want to start collecting some more RE ones. I got my first RE toys back in elementary school (I'm now in college) and I've since lost them. I had most of the toybiz ones. I still have a couple in the case but they're kind of beat up.

Great collections guys.... those figures are really hard to find here in Brazil, and when you find it, it's expensive... I do not have a international credit card, so you got the picture.
I only have Ada + Ivy, Forest + Zombie and the Tyrant from Palisades, and Krauser and Dr. Salvador from NECA.

When I first found a few of the Moby Dick packs here in Australia, I bought them however collecting the full set and making my own huge Nemesis type3 monster, seemed like an impossible dream. But then I found ebay and everything became a whole lot easier. Luckily I got them a few years ago before demand went up and the prices went CRAZY. Figures like Rebecca, Nemesis type2 and the Licker were still around, although not in large numbers. I still managed to pick them up from HK for about $20 each. I couldn't believe it when I saw a Rebecca figure recently for $300!
There's some things I don't have like the Moby Dick G2 with video, the G1 statue and a few other things...
I'll take some photos of my whole collection later but I'm waiting on the 2nd series of 10th anniversary figures which I've pre-ordered.
Possibly the most rare figures I have are these little metal ones (see attachment). I got them 3 or 4 years ago and would love to get more. But I've never found any. If anyone has a figure/figures that I don't have, I would be willing to swap with figures that I have 2 of.

Possibly the most rare figures I have are these little metal ones (see attachment). I got them 3 or 4 years ago and would love to get more. But I've never found any. If anyone has a figure/figures that I don't have, I would be willing to swap with figures that I have 2 of.

Hey you wouldn't happen to have an extra Moby Dick Nemesis Type 1 or lesss likely 2? Also I know those Metal figs they are actually really damn hard to find. I saw a set on ebay a few days ago but it was nothing you don't already have. LOL I know what you mean about the Type-3 but I just bought the LE single packed repaint. So I never got any of the cool MD figs. Well the only ones I really want now form the MD line are the other 2 forms of the Nemesis.

Sorry Shido, I don't usually buy things in doubles. The only reason I have doubles of some of the metal figures is because they were sold in packs of 2.
The MD Nemesis figures are awesome, especially type2.

No offense, but i hate them stupid ass little Agatsuma figurines. IF i ever decide to get them, i'll be 80 years old when i make that decision.

It looks weird, that glow in the dark figurine. I've seen on youtube a while back actually, of many metal albinoids, but i no idea if it those were THEM. This guy had another metal object, saying he's the only one with "Chris's Lighter", and another one saying he has the only "knife set" on Earth. Its like, Bullshit, i bet that's some $20 cigarette lighter you can purchase, because usually stuff like that has a certificate of authenticity, and even THOSE can be fake.

But reason why i said i hated those little things is that, it gets me pissed off that the japanese industry always releases better limited edition stuff and its hard for collector's to get a hold of it when you don't live in that territory. So you'll end up going on ebay paying $100s for it when you could of easily got it cheaper for living there. It seems to me more american items appear on ebay of RE because there's a greater amount of them but seems to be always the same items, where as i did see that Full 36 Biohazard 3 Comic Book Set along with other things on Ebay. [But i passed it on, read down and you'll know why.]

Biohazard always has extremely hard to find stuff which sucks, because if i lived in outside the U.S., i could have a better chance of getting it, while it would be easily to snatch an RE item in the U.S. since there's a lot of common items.

That's why i don't collect anything outside the U.S. [unless of course its really cool like that Black Chainsaw that i saw on Ebay - it was the only one ever saw, so had to snatch it]. If i start doing Biohazard items, i'll end up wanting to find EVERYTHING, because that's probably what i would end up doing. So, i limited myself to just find anything in the U.S. until later in life, if i had a lot of money [anyone can dream] to actually do the exploring after that.

Its not always in Japan who gets limited edition stuff, its all the regions baslcially, including places in Europe like Germany. We get limited edition stuff too, but it ain't no where as cool as having replicas of guns from Biohazard or swords from Final Fantasy. >.<

Yeah I noticed that, I shelled out 125 for my Type-3 alone. I just can't justify spending more for a Type-2 than I did the Type-3 though. the guns are what i commonly seen on there, but stupid people go as far as saying they have the ONLY SET. But yeah, as you open all your figures i never open mine. Probably that's MY PART of the challenge is to finding everything unopened, including the games - which i have been VERY successful lately at snatching.

See, what's interesting is that i ONLY wanted to collect Resident Evil 4 stuff because i really liked it, but then i saw some Palisades figurines and i bought some and didn't realize how huge they were. Then after that everything expanded its been real fun. Real neat stuff they have and retarded stuff as well.

And its not so much investment for me either, its IF i had no choice but to sell it, at least i can find another RE collector to sell it to, and the chain could probably keep on going.

I have an error packaged Ada Wong from Neca that i recieved through capcom online back in 2005 during the RE4 PS2 order in October. I call it a misprint though. Only about 100 or so are made that way and were only found during the capcom online pre-order. when the 1st press ran out. they issued a 2nd press that contained Ada Wong instead of Leon S. Kennedy, but only Ada had the error in the packaging. Never saw one sell on Ebay though.

Postage is the big extra, when ordering from here in Aus. That's why I prefer to get them all at once rather than look for individual ones and pay the postage each time ($30 to get the set sent over, while a single figure would cost about $20 postage).
I got series 1 from the same ebay seller so I don't expect any probs-.-
If anyone wants to know the seller just ask me in an email.

I saw one of ebay for like like $300 US sealed, then looked to mine to see that it was bloodied. I had of course opened the set, so you might find it hard to believe me. AFAIK this was the only MD figs with the 'bloodied' variant.
My ones are in Australia. I can ask family for pics, but it might take a while.

I collected and opened ALL the MD sets. (except chris tyrant, as they were singles. Didnt bother with the bronzes etc. either). If you build Nemesis 3 it's actually missing one spine! It was a pain to build. Very shonky construction. Didn't fit together well. PAints dont line up etc. Differing shades. Can anyone tell me what bonus Nemmy-1 solo comes with? And if they know, Chris-Tyrant?

Yeah the Nemy was released in a single card. Limited Edition Ver, he came with all the stuff from the boxset that was included for him.

I've heard about it and seen alot of pics so it may be true. I've even seen people sell Type-1 that were blooday and didn't even label it as that. Maybe it's just a varaint that's not all that big a deal.

I am really glad i got the Type-3 repaint cause it is the best fig in my collection. So far from what I've heard the BAF ver was just bad.

There was a Nemesis alone, like Shido said. He was more green than anything else, which makes me think it was a later release to help ease the confusion with the box sets no longer being done.

The blood you think of was probably from the packaging. The red backing in the Dino Crisis Jill and the Nemesis 2 packs bled out into the figures themselves if you kept them in the box, it happened to two of mine. That or the guy was a scammer, there are no blood variants and its fairly easy to "seal" the box with the tape they shipped with.

yo i seen your reply yha i got my nemesis in a solo pack that was limited editon and he dosnt come with any special part for the BAF

I agree the type3 was damn difficult to put together. There were instructions about soaking the 'knobs' in hot water to make them more pliable. I did this but still had a torrid time, twisting, turning and pushing with all my might, to get some pieces together.
It looks really cool though. There are some slightly different shades of color but nothing that makes it look bad. I think this may be because I got some Biohazard3 boxes and some Resident Evil3 boxes and different single packs of each aswell.

i've looked/heard of the collections on here and they sound gr8. i'm going back to collecting R.E, as i've been collection star wars for the last 2 years, but with their reprints, i've decided to start on building a resident evil collection. So far i only have

Nemesis Type 2 M.D
Chainsaw Ganado NECA
Leon in RPD uniform NECA
Leon with coat NECA

i know this is a small collection but i hope to grow it soon. Any ideas on how to start, like best place to buy them from. I ebay quite alot but you have to pay silly prices. I live in the UK, so don't have many cool figure stores like America.

hmmmm well the only place really is a shop called forbidden planet, but they get only a few in stock and take ages to get any new ones in. i want to start collecting from the begining starting with r.e 1 onwards.

Mine has a signature on it too. Its common on the box, but its an exclusive palisades toy.

The rarest I beleve are

Rebecca, Tyrant (002), Ivy, Licker, Leon, HUNK, Nemesis II.

A comic shop near my house (in Australia of all places) got two boxes, in maybe 2004, each had about 2 of the 7. I think they may have been released alot later than all the rest? I know they all shipped together. I bought a set of 7, and he took about 15&#37; off the price, which was awesome.

The early 2 packs can also be somewhat rare. The last one I could track down was Carlos v Nemesis I. Very hard for me to find for some reason. Ebay coughed one up, but to ship it to Australia was more expensive than the actual win price.
I don't know any details about the misc figures, other than that I've seen them.

I believe the doubles also come in a bronze finish, and maybe also another colour or two? I don't know how rare these are. Someone else would be better qualified to answer that.

RE the camo soldier zombie. It's a palisades variant. There were a few of these too.

Nemesis w/ tentacle (I believe US EB exclusive. INSANELY pricey if you can find one. Palisades nemesis fetch enough as it is.)

I believe the only variant in this line was the way Wesker was packed. I think it was rarer boxed with the sunglasses on? I'm not sure. Happy to be corrected on this one.

The Camouflage Chris is apart of Series 3, which is a variant along side Wesker with sunglasses. He's basically the same thing with just a different head, not soo much a variant if you ask me. if he was packaged with a Sweeper [Poisonous Hunter], it would of done ALOT better.

i've only got 4 at the moment, which are Nemesis type 2, leon with coat from R.E4, Leon in RPD Uniform and Ganado R.E4. would love the pictures. Also does anyone know how you can tell a fake bloody ganado, because anyone could reseal the card after painting the face or use another picture from another website. I just wanted to know what kinda things you could do to check it's real that's all.
And i've found a few Nemesis busts on ebay, but there from america and postage comes to a bit, so i might wait for somone in england to decide to sell theres. :)

hmmm i think it was toy news inernational, it's where you have a gamma hunter as your picture. i'm worried because somone on that site might be getting the nemesis that i'm after :o. If i do blow my cash on type 3 i'm sorry to say that Halo may have to wait til after Xmas, so i guess you should sell them in your own time, but i'll keep you updated on if i do buy nemesis.

I havn't taken photos yet because when I put in the new 10th aniv. Necca figs (still waiting :nervous:) I'm gonna have to rearrange it all (it's always getting more & more crowded in there). Not that I'm complaining... I hope they keep making lots more new RE figures. The more the merrier ^_^

Well this week has been a rushful one, been hunting down a bit of moby dick, they are F**king expensive, so i really have to put in some overtime at work to get the job done. I love the William G4 type, he looks like a REAL monster. btw anyone got pictures of him, would really like to get a real feel of his size and height etc. Shido would be grand if you had him and could snap him up with leon like you did with nemesis, would be gr8 to see both together. :)
