That's how I Feel about Jill. I wanted Tera Patrick no where NEAR Jill as VA, but, I kinda just hoped if they did use her, she'd seem as good as DC, and even though her voice is more "rough" for a female, it's rather grown on me I should say. Geeez, her delivery was so top notch(but pretty much any major scene had top notch delivery). Wow, way to get me on a ramble, lol.
I really liked Jill's VA in REmake--it's the VA I thought should be Jill onthrough out the rest of the series. Funny how RE5 changed all that. Because as much praise as DC gets, Tera Patrick is right there with'em(so is Chris, shit, and might as well put Sheva in there). I mean, there performances are the turn around of the freakin centurary as far as I"m concerned. I was dreading the idea that Capcom would use the same people they used for UC. Thank God they didn't use the Chris VA from UC. the funny thing is, when the behind closed doors TGS trailer was revealed, that one has the first Wesker lines revealed in it, and I think I watched it about 5-10 times memorized by how awesome Wesker sounded. . .until. . .until I realized it wasn't Waugh. Could it be. . .no. .. no it couldn't be the SAME GUY from UC. But oh wow wow.
As for REmake voice acting...eh, I guess it is decent. Much better than RE1, obviously. It's just the dialogue was still kind of dull. And Chris is so dull in REmake. So. Dull.
I can snap you a few if you want. And that reminds me the other day you were talking abotu changing your avatar. If you have any paticular game or scene you want of Jill's you-know-whats, I'll be happy to oblige. Lol.
I don't remember the "Shit" line from Barry in REmake (I only played as Jill once or twice). I'll have to look it up on youtube. That's awesome that you have all the cutscenes recorded. I personally hate having to play them off the disc. Do you have any screencaps of the RE5 Chris/Jill scene where they have "eye sex" before the scene gets interrupted by Sheva's presence?
