If you were keeping track, in sales and numbers, PS1 won vs 64 and Saturn, PS2 won vs xbox and gamecube.
However current gen was a complete tie when it all comes down to it.

Next gen though, who do you think will likely sell the most?

Imo, after reading ALOT of posts on the internet, such as IGN and on facebook walls, it seems clear PS4 will likely outsell the Xbox One and WiiU. My instincts tell me it's the former but of course there's no way of knowing unless you check. Anyone got any advice on the matter? I'm really curious to see what's inside both the retail game and this "beta" to see if it's just a hack job or actually something that was once legit before it was translated. It worries me that RockSteady are not producing the game and instead it's being made by Warner Brothers. Also the fact that Kevin Conroy has been dropped in favor of a new, younger voice actor isn't something I wanted to hear, I'm hoping that they'll be going for someone who sounds like Conroy.
It'd be interesting to know what other villains will be making an appearance since only Black Mask, Dead Shot and The Penguin have been officially confirmed. This is a brand new game with an original story. It's not a mod. It might end up being fanfiction quality against my best effort, but it isn't fanfiction. I'm emulating the mechanics I love that the original RE games emulated from previous games, that's all the similarity there will be. There's no bows or zombies involved. What will be different is that you will be able to interact a lot more with the environment than most adventure games I know of.

While I love fixed cameras and this game will have that system, I know it's short comings. They will be planned to transition in a manner that won't leave a blind corner unless it's logical for one to be there.

There's no diffuse maps yet. I am going to photograph my own texture bases next month. I'm hoping to make enough so I can purchase a better camera. Most of the professional work I did was making up diffuse textures so it's odd they're not the first thing I went into. But I want to do that job only once. So I'm holding off if I can afford a better camera than what I have.

It has spawned other games on other consoles, but Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals was the pinnacle for this franchise. I was looking around and found a mod of Lufua 2, called Super Lufia XXX. Here's what it has got:

- nearly all enemies are stronger: More HP, MP, STR; DEF, ...only AGI wasn't changed
- enemies have learned new and additional spells
- enemies will call more often for help and will be supported by stronger friends
- many enemies will drop another items, even myth blade, dual blade and others can be received during normal game play, but this occurs very rarely
- there are 3 new enemies: the octopus that was removed in the final version, the king hydra as well and the hate demon for the ancient cave
- the unicorn jewel and the trick ring can be obtained as well
- every boss except for the master and the egg dragon are much more of a challenge now
- the whole ancient cave is much more difficult, due to the stronger enemies
- some attack and spell animations are switched
- the devils in the lower ancient cave may no longer steal your MP, but will cast the strong elemental spells instead
- the fruits for capsule monsters are renamed, so it makes more sense
- the ancient shield can be looted as well
- some enemy attacks are powered up a lot near the end of the game
- weapons with instant dead can be found outside the ancient cave

the additional "arek mod":
- arek can be fought instead of the master at the bottom of the ancient cave, he is a hell of an end boss and requires some good equipment and at least lv 70

Sounds awesome, right? Not so fast. There are two problems you should be aware of. First, the game is glitchy, to say the least. Normal character movements glitch, and some characters appear as totally different entities sometimes. Secondly, the whole game has been translated to German! These things don't stop you from playing it of course, but needless to say it does take away from the play value. I'm posting this as a call out to someone who can hack SNES games. Super Lufia XXX isn't hard to find. Google it and you'll find a downloadable version immediately. Please, if you love Lufia like I do, download this game and fix it!!
