Follows RE4. So Umbrella stocks dived, and it goes bankrupt. Mostly told through international news reports. There is shots of a conference with President Graham, where he refuses to answer any questions about the matter.
Initially the film sets itself up for it's own scenario. Introduces terrasave, as well as Wilpharm, all in this intro sequence.
There have been T virus outbreaks in India (small scale), which Terrasave want the truth told about. Claire arrives at the airport with an Indian orphan girl. At the same time, Senator Ron Davis, a backer of Wilpharm is in the airport. Looking for a way out past the protesters. Wilpharm is behind the outbreaks in India, but it's from human vaccine trials, and not an accident. So there is a good means to these actions.

At the same time, Curtis Miller releases T virus into the airport. Claire sees him and recognises him. Curtis lost his wife and daughter in Raccoon city. He's using terrorist tactics to re-create outbreaks. So that eventually the US government involvement in Raccoon City is made known. The outbreak spreads very quickly. THEN the plane crashes into the building, and the zombies emerge from there too.

Claire, the girl, the senator, and one other survivor are holed up in a room. Leon is sent in first to rescue them, while larger forces assemble. He gets his orders relayed through Hunnigan. He only takes 2 members or the SRT with him. Angela and Greg.

They have an encounter with some zombies. Eventually find their way to Claire and the other survivors. They all make it out of the airport soon after. Crossing past the plane wreck, the Senator makes a dash for the door, and in doing so, pushes the little girl down a slope near some zombies. Claire jumps down too. Leon tosses a gun to her, and she gets a little action scene there too.

Wilpharm had actually developed a T virus vaccine. Most of the supply, 2 trucks arrives outside the airport. However these trucks are destroyed, and so is all of the vaccine.
The terrorists have made the demand that the truth be made known before midnight, or there will be more T virus outbreaks in the US. Claire identifies Curtis as a suspect. Curtis is Angela's brother.

Claire and the Wilpharm head researcher (waiting for the Senator at the airport) go to Wilpharm HQ. Angela and Leon go to Curtis' place, which he has set fire to. Curtis is making his way to the Wilpharm HQ. Wilpharm have a G virus sample, which the Senator asks to be destroyed because of this outbreak and their percieved implications with it (which will make him lose on his investment). Claire catches wind that there is a G virus sample, and calls Leon to come right way. Curtis has taken the G virus sample, and also blows up a huge part of the facility. There are 6 areas of the facility, and it's built on a huge pit. The central part, and 5 parts radiate from the centre pit. The middle is blown out by Curtis. Claire is injured in the explosion. Curtis has injected himself with G virus. He transforms, and attacks alot of commandos. He's temporarily defeated by Leon. Then the main area (already bombed) is set to be destroyed. They dodge that for long enough.
Then Leon and Angela are left top of one of the outer areas. Because the biohazard contaminant (G-Curtis) is still present, the areas begin to drop into the pit sequentially.

Eventually, the creature is defeated. Claire discovers that Curtis had the whole thing taping from the control room. So that was part of his expose on the T and G virus. 

Everybody reunites on the surface. Then they discover that Downing had actually caused all the outbreaks, as he was selling the T virus on the black market. And he was using the outbreaks to exemplify their power. A 'sales pitch' as Leon puts it.

It was actually this rogue agent, and not all of Wilpharm that is corrupt, but the public trust in the company is still shattered. Tricell absorb Wilpharm's personelle and assets. 

We see Tricell scientists in biohazard suits coming the bottom of the pit for things. One finds a fragment of the G monster, and puts it in a case.

Then a new Biohazard 5 trailer. Shows the Blonde girl on the 2f balcony, screaming "Help me!". Very short shot. Then Chris and Sheva in the village, being circled by bikers.
A bit later, see them in a small boat, and then villagers in larger vessels "trying to sink us!" as Chris puts it. A few quick cuts of the sea-monster. It looks like it's opening to reaveal a person inside? VERY quick cuts. Hard to make out. I wouldn't be suprised if I'm wrong.
Also a few shots of Wesker, but not in action. Not a very long trailer. 30-45 seconds maybe?
