Another week, and another look at an unseen Double Helix title. This one is more complete than Hellions which I posted about before. As always, it is an early prototype, so there are glitches and things that aren't finished, like the fact that there is all of one zombie model.
But at the very least, the game looks quite good, and dismembering zombies is a fairly unique feature.
This video just has the first level of the prototype where you play as a soldier. Solid gunplay, but no real hook for those of you out there that are getting burnt out on the zombie genre. The other levels mix things up by allowing you to play as one of the infected, but I dont want to spoil too much until I can get the other videos edited.
This title was in development around 2011 or so, to give some perspective. The market has changed a bit since then.
