The original code run on Taito Type X hardware, and I think the SFIV version has an ATI GPU with a Core 2 Duo. So it's essentially running on a PC with more in common with the 360.
AM2 struggled a bit while porting VF5 to the 360 (since Lindburgh used an Nvidia GPU), but given the time, they did just fine. Same PS3 visuals with 4X MSAA to boot.

Doesn't bother me one bit as Im getting the 360 version unless the PS3 version is proven to be the superior version.
I'll go where the competitions act *as in get the Hori stick for either console and play online*

I've been wanting to play this game since the first trailer came out. Capcom needs to hurry up.

New SF4 Interview - PS3 Version Development Trouble
An interesting new interview from Yoshinori Ono, the director of Street Fighter IV. With the home edition both PS3 and 360 bound (with rumours of a Wii version too), Ono has gone on record and stated that there are some problems with the PS3 version of Street Fighter 4, at the moment.
Capcom's really good at doing realistic graphics on the PS3 hardware, but we have struggled getting the more artistic shaders of Street Fighter IV working correctly.Tags: None
