Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

LOL, bullshit. I recently got the game, and the online is no better than it was with Modern Warfare, or even SOCOM years ago.

I have to restrain myself. Modern Warfare (COD4) is one of the greatest accomplishments in multiplayer gaming in this decade. It singlehandedly does more things right than any other game has done since Tribes. It was developed to be the best and most balanced, and it is. Everything about it thought through to miniscule detail. Level design, spawn mechanics, weapon balance, stat tracking and unlocks. Even if people dont like this game, which is completely fair, if they have any sense of critical thinking, they cant ignore the features which makes COD4 one of the benchmarks for all multiplayer games to come.

Unfortunately the lower standards for the whole mass of modern "casual gamers" means games will not be compared to COD4 in terms of how complete and well made they are. All it takes is an Eminem track.

Doesn't mean that I don't enjoy this game, though; I like the story mode, and online is fun, but this game is overhyped way too much.

Theres nothing good about the story mode. Its still the same overscripted and non-challenging linear tour-de-garbage built entirely on people recognizing certain specific characters and being impressed about anything those characters participate in. All it takes is a mohawk and a painted balaclava.

In a lot of ways, MW2 represents everything thats wrong with the videogame industry. The game hurts those more who played the franchise on a PC.

You talked to the wrong people. This is one of the most unbalanced online games ever.

i hate that was well, i hate that probably more than snipers, aghh

I dont mind snipers that much although i don admit that getting killed by them is pretty annoying (but its really satisfying when you kill them lol). Also strangely I dont mind campers all that much either lol which is pretty strange. The thing i hate the most though is the predator missile, god that pisses me off!

Yep it is pretty unbalanced but the game still manages to be pretty fun. Although i hate those people who run around knifing people with those perks that make you faster.

Also I'm really enjoying the new map pack

Maybe its because im not an expert but I dont really prefer either game since they are so similar lol it just feels like COD4 with some added features and maps lol. Not surprising i mean why change a formula that works?

There is so much wrong with MW2, that the list would take a whole page here. Unfortunately nowadays people prefer more bling and stats, ribbons, medals, trophies than balance, bug/exploitfree gameplay.
