Yeah, tell me about it. Annoys me sometimes.
Sigh...one can only get better, I suppose.

I rented the orangebox on 360 a few months ago. I completely dominated every server I went to. Players on the PC version are much better.

Of course, if you don't have a capable machine, then the console version becomes the only way.
Unless of course, you take time out to upgrade it...

The PC version is so much better than the 360 version it's not even funny.
I started on the 360 and migrated to PC and I'm not looking back.

Get it for the PC.
It is much more supported and updated frequently, and not necessarily easier to get pwned in if you're a newbie. I caught on fairly quickly; about a couple of days. Even so, I'm still a newbie.

I tried to play it on 360 when I got The Orange Box, but sadly I couldn't stand it.
I don't know if it was because of imbalance or lag, but everything just seemed off. Maybe I should give it a go when I get the Orange Box again.

Thanks Rock it. That website may indeed come in handy.
Yeah, I freaking love Pyro right now. Engineer is still pretty good, though. Also still like the Spy, though I need to experiment a little more also.

I've been playing TF2 religiously ever since I got it back in '08, it's always a blast!
I can play everyone fairly well, but I mainly main the soldier. It's just priceless to multi-kill with critical rockets!
EDIT: Check out http://www.ubercharged.net/ for strategies, tips and stuff concerning competitive TF2: It's really helpful!Last edited by Rock it.; 10-10-2009, 12:27 AM.

I've clocked in most hours as Pyro but my favourite classes lately have been Medic and Demoman. Medic is super rewarding when you've got good combo going on with a heavy, and Demoman requires a lot of precision shooting with sticky grenades and regular ones. Both classes require the right kind of skills and reactions so it's much more rewarding to see your efforts pay off, unlike when you're constantly backburning everyone as Pyro.

PC can't run Left 4 Dead well, but it runs TF2 pretty good.
Usually use Heavy, Demoman and Pyro primarily, although if needed i'll medic.

Engineer is my favorite class right now.
In second, Pyro.
Third, Spy.
Fourth...Heavy Weapons Guy.

I play it, though I've recently been playing Left 4 Dead more due to the DLC.
I tend to play Sniper/Spy, Sniper for those satisfying precision shots from across the map, and the Spy because playing mind games with the enemy and have them jumping at their own shadows whilst you impersonate their team mates and sow chaos in their base is very satisfying.
Pyro is fun to play as when I am not feeling subtle, and air blasting rockets, mines, jars of urine, arrows and grenades back is very entertaining simply for the reaction.

Thanks for the tips. Will put them to practice in the field of battle.
