Well...shit. Given how awful LoveFilm has become since Amazon bought it (slower disc turn around, no more gammes, 'hey we have a show...but only if you buy it on top of your subscription' shit online) I can only imagine what they're going to do to make Twitch more profitable.

Wide variety of reasons. Just because they don't apply to you doesn't mean they're not why someone else likes watching.

Sometimes you encounter really amazing players, sometimes you encounter players who are gifted in their commentary, sometimes you want to watch a game played that you cant afford.

And sometimes you watch people with personalities that shine during their gameplay, which can lead to genuinely fun moments more entertaining than even the games themselves, especially if they suck at the game.

Sometimes, its done for charity too.
