I hope this needling isn't aimed at me.

Shows what London's youth are truly after. "I've got a free Playstation!"

Hope all my friends over there are holding up. I know you classy folk aren't accustomed to such riots so let me break it down (no pun intended).

Guns are your friend. You need to defend yourself from anyone looking suspicious.

And..... That's pretty much it. Best of luck to you all. Especially my good friends Andrew and John.

Great. Now they've hit where I live.
So much overreaction from people regarding these riots. Like we're the only people in the world who have ever had such things happen. A healthy combination of scaremongering, overreaction and poor management of a situation that could have been contained sooner.

I'm going to go for a walk into Portsmouth and enjoy the peace and quiet.

They've already shown themselves up on the streets post-Bin Laden.

Oh shit, next there will be a tornado or earthquake! :p

Disillusioned youth mostly thinking they've got good reason to go fuck up peoples workplaces, buildings, vehicles, and the excuse is because everyone else is doing it too. Fuck off. Wankers.

The real issue now I got is that familys and flats are being involved when they torch these buildings, and invading peoples homes.

The police have said they expect the death toll to increase once they start getting access to some of these buildings.

I mean check this shit out, it's just awful.

The first night's protest was fine...they weren't protesting that the guy was shot, but protesting how they were being treated (the police refused to release information, the area's top cop was supposed to meet them and didn't, etc) and given that the initial, non-violent protest is one thing.

This is something different. Some idiot decided to spark things off and now this shit is happening. People are just using it to loot and pillage and it's fucking stupid. I'd hold off on the armed forces - there's nothing like a few death to get a real riot going. But it does need to be stamped out, fast.
