i acutally found alot of them thanks to you and im actually interested in them because im a traceur and i like to practice at night preferably

Don't try looking for waist mounted. Try getting a head mounted one. Most of them are just hooked onto an elastic type of material and can easily be hooked onto belts or even attached to tactical gear provided with the correct clasps.

I've got one that I can take off the elastic set and clip it onto other things if I feel like it and it's practically the same size and type as Leon's.

I can't remember the make of mine, but it looks more or less like this -



It's a white LED one too, and it has a large clip on the back to attach to other things.

You'd probably be more likely to find them in regard to rock climbing, most of the people I used to go climbing with had them hooked onto their harnesses as normal ones are too big, heavy or get lodged into the harness when scaling cliff faces.
