How do you know Alex was only meant to appear in files? Christine is the opposite, she was already a character and she already appeared in a story. The files merely referenced the story.

The other Wesker children are dead. Alex leaving is what causes Spencer to lure Albert to him, knowing he'd be killed. So Alex caused his death, indirectly maybe, but he wouldn't be dead if Alex hadn't abandoned him.

And what makes you think that? Because there's no mention of it, and Wesker is just there with no reason at all.

It doesn't matter what people think about the plot. People think there's a possibility of Annette being alive because of a goofy mistranslation, and most people are unaware that the G-Virus' purpose was to create an evolved human race, among so many other misconceptions. Ignorance (not in a bad way, either) does not affect the actual story-- in which Christine Henry is the one person responsible for sending HUNK to steal the G-Virus.

You never know Spencer as the founder of Umbrella or discoverer of the Progenitor Virus until the fourth game (CV/GS). He also never caused Raccoon City's destruction, that was the Queen Leech. Again... going purely by your logic here.

Yes, just like the other Wesker children are. And what do you mean "directly"? It wasn't gonna happen if, you know, Wesker didn't outright kill him. That's "indirectly", at best.

EDIT: She sent HUNK to get the virus. He delivered it straight to her in Loire Village, which was the location of her chateau and secret laboratory (which Birkin's laboratory was based on, and where he and Annette first developed G). So yes, she got the virus. She shared it with Umbrella.

And if she was name Chris Henrietta, she would still be a nobody. Because whenever someone thinks about RE2's plot, they think about HUNK and Umbrella.
I still have to find someone who actually believes she's not a generic character.

I see Henry mentioned all the time on even GameFAQs. Not only that, but she was brought up again fairly recently in Darkside Chronicles and Archives II... so clearly the writers are still fully aware of her.

Christine Henry was only brought up into this shit when crazy fan theories for the Rev2 villains started, they even say shit about Jenny K. Seriously, who are them? Oh yeah, I remember now, they're generic characters created for some dumb file.
