yeah, its supposed to be a dream, but its still not canon, since claire never really saw the nemesis, she couldn't dream it up ..

The Nemesis was largely just a gameplay device to stop people hogging the arcade cabinets for excess amounts of time.

GS2 is canon, but it's not required material or anything.
