    vary positive, the RTDs are deformed, thay must be lacking information that make them not run,I know what rooms thay are simply by the backgounds I never got access them,I put them there As A hacking refrence for myself.I am currently working on reforming these hence why the project is in A stump..

    hope this example helps...

    lets say you want to access this

    0.08 Wrecked Helicopter

    you get the first number which is 0 as you can see

    enter this code but replace the X with that 0.
    Main Location (For the first number)

    300A49D6 000x

    it would go like this...

    300A49D6 0000

    now get the second number which is 08 and enter this code too but same as above replace YY with 08

    300A49D8 00yy

    you would get this result

    300A49D8 0008

    so the code would be

    300A49D6 0000
    300A49D8 0008

    to travel to Wrecked Helicopter..
    these codes work on the US resident evil preview disc...
    hope that helps...

    Sorry I thought the hacking your own codes feature worked with epsxe but it seems it only works on Bleem & Connectix Virtual Game Station.
    The guide is here http://pec.duttke.de/makecodes1.php along with pec.
    You can download either here http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_utils_emu.shtml
    but Bleem only works on a operating system before XP and Connectix Virtual Game Station will only run a Pentium 2 or 3.
    There is a dev build of epsxe that has debugger inbuilt but I haven't found it anywhere and it seems the devs won't share it either :-(
    At the moment I'm just using Cheat Engine along with epsxe to hack codes http://www.cheatengine.org/.

    The following codes you can use with Cheat Engine for Beta 2
    ePSXe.exe+612F2A = Room Warp [Room Background Image]
    ePSXe.exe+626862 = Room Warp [Character Room Location Co-ordinates]
    Here's an example cheat table to get you started.

    (PSX) Biohazard 2 - Beta Version 2 [SLUS_00748] for some odd reason they gave it the same id as the US dual shock version.
    (PSX) Biohazard 2 - Trial Edition [SLPS_00999]
    (PSX) Resident Evil 2 - Preview [SLED_00977]
    (PSX) Resident Evil 2 - Preview [SLUS_9009]
    (PSX) Resident Evil 2 "10 minute demo" [SCED_00827]

    You can do room warps to access any of the hidden rooms in any version just use PEC with epsxe and search for value of the current ROOM.RDT / ROOM.BSS your in and then change it to the one you want to access you don't need any of these fancy pickyeater custom rebuilds the BETA has room warp built into the select or pause menu anyway.

    Ohh and about the street yes I do believe it was meant to be bigger I seem to remember playing a
    demo or trial at my friends house where the opening street and bus area was completely different come to think of it I don't remember the gun shop being there either but the area's leading up the RPD where the same as the retail version.

    Controller 1
    Select = Debug Menu [In-game]
    Hold Select = Item Selection [Inventory Screen] Use
    shoulder buttons to browse items (L1 & L2 = Forwards / R1 & R2 = Backwards).

    L1 = BGM On/Off
    L2 = Pause On/Off

    Anyway, I have some questions about resident evil 2 trial..i’m not an expert , so I need help. Thanks in advance

    1)first of all, i think that the demo is a build created between re2 beta 1 and and re2 beta 2.. am i wrong ?
    Sorta but more of an adtaptation of beta 1 (I call it Alpha 2) it was beta 1 I assume that most of beta 1,s content was removed for sampling purposes and the rest cannot be removed due to either cutting cost(Which I highly doubt because thay were willing to let go of 1.5 even after spending time and money on its development) or the remainder of the contant needed to be there to hold the game together.

    No,But I have some of my own opinons on it,I think that the letters represent words P for public,L for Limited and S for Strict,in thory this would make sense in A Class system, such as the recption room would be public because people visit it for paper work ECT,and areas such as the file room and the back areas would be limited to members such as workers some office members(janiters, manitence, secretarys other non law enforcement) and areas like the intareagation room and the evidence room and strict for law enforcement only
    these keys are too descrptive just to be placeholders.

    there is,but but no door link to it,with good reason though most 3rd floor rooms dont work just the clock room.

    no,do to that event you just mentioned, but in my hack I linked it in way so you can,if your curious...

    I would really love to see all the full descriptions of all the items in the demo, but sadly no,I have heard that A magazine had them though.

And it is likely that were some differences in the encounters with the other characters.
    you know what? your the first person to think about this demo what I think about and that is this demo was suppose to be more,I today feel Like this is my resident evil 2 the version I feel I was promised, for some reason the feeling from this game is diffrent when I play from the retail, the overall game is diffrent to me the music fit in so perfectly it felt so much like resident evil 1to me I even I dreams of playing this in its entire, this is why I embarked to create Biohazard 2 Prereleased to in attempt to satisfy myself and the others who beleive this was the resident evil 2 thay were suppose to get,I have said it before Biohazard 2 Prereleased was A attempt to turn A demo into A almost playable experence, its title comes from the fact that it was before it,s finished conterpart, thanks for understanding my feeling upon this demo and why its so speical to me.

    due to the fact that the demo was suppose to be more,it was A switch to activte power to the card lock to the evidence room, see the ripped backgrounds to find this completely no exstent lock.

    An update of info of sorts...the breaker text is mentioned in the operations report in the meeting room. The breaker was the reason the computer couldn't unlock all the doors. The solution was in the power room in the basement...

    Not sure what your asking, do you want the backgrounds that were used in the playable trial? Or all the backgrounds from the trial disc?

    thanks

    it is possible to find somewhere all the backgrounds of the trial ? (only those present in the trial, not the backgrounds of the beta 2 or 1.5).

    also, i think that this message is a reference to some elettrical puzzle in the basement..
