I don't think it matters... I don't really detect that there is a big interest in the ports. Besides, Wii-to-PS3 ports do poorly anyway.

I doubt Capcom has high hopes for the ports. But they're merely trying to cash in on recycling the old material... just like the did with the RE:Archives games - where all the production/PR stuff was already paid for years ago. And where every unit sold represented a profit.

I'm actually curious..should we really be supporting Capcom on this? I mean we cant keep buying the same game over and over again and they arent even adding anything extra to these games to begin with.

They are but upscaled ports, nothing more (besides ported RECV engine adding better lighting). With this UC/DSC, it looks no different to the RE4 port.

They bothered to remaster the Darkside FMVs.

They will probably skip out on remastering the Umbrella Chronicles FMVs, though. But those were pretty bad to begin with.

I'm sorry, but you're expecting too much from Capcom. You'll get an upscale on the PS3 and that's it.

How do you know about that? Last time they released a comparison trailer, they described RE4-Gamecube and RE:CV as a blurred version, while the game itself and it's cutscenes were blurred.

If there was a disc version I would buy it. But I don't like digital downloads... So I'll stick with my wii games, thx.

That's cool, I love the Wii games but the Wii has horrid blurry visuals.

I want a Onimusha Collection though, maybe even an option to turn on a filter that makes the game look and run like they did on their original systems.

i think this hd thing with resident evils was cool at first but then i see this chronicles hd and it gets me thinking that there gonna do this with more titles now to juice us out of everything we got but the cool thing with these 2 titles is that they were previously only on the wii so with that being said it feels like when they started doing all these resident evil 4 ports i thought it was taking it a little too far but ill have my eye opened for Resident evil dead aim and outbreak 1 and 2 HD coming out! (im not saying this is a bad idea its just the thought of nothing else being added to the games other than graphics which i dont care about graphics neither should anyone else if they played RE GBC and liked it i just dont know what to think of all this)

If they ever do remaster them, they should make both games full 3D.
