  • You can think I'm an Albert Wesker of beta infoz if you want. That still won't make that idea good.

      • Leave them alone, probably. The whole point of a "beta" is that they're incomplete. You can't seriously say "complete them and release them" with a straight face, because if that was possible or even slightly desired, it would've happened already.

Not true, the reason is because THEY FUCKING HATE ANYTHING SURVIVAL HORROR OR SCARY OR CLASSIC OR ORIGINAL AND THEY THINK IT WONT SELL WELL BECAUSE ITS NOT ACTION
backing of about them being released cause it wont happen, but not directly from them.

Complete nonsense. While this may fill some empty hole of justification for you, it's a complete shot in the dark.

                1) Castle version was "orthodox BIOHAZARD" with strong content, but it suffered from technical limitations and they weren't satisfied with a particular result, which they deemed inferior to BH2.
                2) Hallucination version was a demo with the goal of creating a dual-world structure where things would be normal one minute and then completely crazy the next. It was scrapped because of technical issues and excessive costs.

Neither of those have anything to do with action. They would've been released as pure Survival Horror. But they had issues that were unable to be corrected. They weren't completed or released because of these issues. They won't be completed or released today because of these issues, and also because absolutely nobody who worked on them actually works at CAPCOM anymore.

Right now, at best, only the short demo of the Hallucination version would still be in CAPCOM's hands.

Could you explain this in detail please? And if not (right now), where will one be able to see this information eventually? Thanks

Now you're right, can't say you're wrong, but why can't they bring other professional developers to work on them ? perhaps it won't be the same but seeing todays generation consoles the technical problems would be totally eliminated, while I myself don't wanna see that happen too especially when they would completely change the script or game style ... if not then thats a good way to satisfy every fan considering the failure of BH6 and the negative feedback.

Enough about 3.5 now lol, this thread is supposed to be about 1.5 >.<

What you want is a brand new game with a similar style and design. Not a scrapped version of BH4.

What he means is that it would have cost too much to take the game and get it to run on the hardware available!
Too much working with assets, reaportioning power, too much time, etc...

You may have 1 or two and few information about them, but don't even think you will be forever.
Enjoy the ever lasting truth *BAM*
Wow, dude, calm the hell down, you're seriously getting crazy over this. He's not at fault about this, and it's not about knowledge or power. Plus, even if he didn't want it to happen, it's not like wanting to happen or not happen will change it. And even if he had in his posession what we (or you) seek, risking his livelihood just so other people can play a game is not worth it, man. Or even if it's not a risk to him, he has the free will to do with it what he pleases.
It's not because he doesn't want it to come out, it's because it's not realistic. The game became what it was supposed to be, and that's the end. Everything it wasn't, just isn't that game anymore, hence it wont be released. We can speak in theory all we want but it wont do anything.
Realize this. No matter how much you like a game, no matter how much you want it. It's not your game, it's theirs and they can make whatever they want of it, as long as they want. They're a company, and they do what they do to make profits. If something is unpopular, it sticks in their heads and they'll try something new, rather than take a risk.

Realize that it's not all anonymous. They can't just go in and be like, oh, look at this old file, copy/save, or open some safe and pick it out.
There are security measures, and even if they release it anonymously, there are ways for the company to track the leak, internally... Again, a risk, not really worth it for just a game...

                          Maybe he's infacted, eh? lol

I thought it was the story line for it being scrapped? Resident Evil 4 originally had Leon die, but then they decided to remake it and have him survive because the serious was still successful.
