If they added some tiny details like extra costumes, new weapon, even if you could just save your ammo and weapons and they stay in the box, for when you replay through it again. If there's no change what so ever then I'll wait for the price to drop way down.

well if theres no significant changes between the gc versions and the wii versions then theres no point in me buying them really but the sad truth is that i probs will buy them because im a loser like that lol nah i dnt mind it will give me an excuse to play them again i gues even though i can play both zero and REmake on the wii anyway lol

It may be a bit of a taste thing, but I'm very thankful for the fact that I do not have to manually toggle my TV's aspect ratio settings to 4:3 everytime I play a game that does not support widescreen ;D

(Quite a few recent releases have had fixes for this. Capcom's own Mega Man 9 amongst others goes uses vertical letterboxing to maintain the proper 4:3 aspect ratio of the game)

I'm sure it could be done perfectly fine "somehow" (with a bit of out-of-the-box thinking and some minor adjustments).

Since RE's controls in reality only really ever need one directional input + 2~3 different types of interaction/functionality buttons (depending on how contextual sensitive you want them to be) + a pause button, that leaves us with 2-3 free buttons and the motion feature (only used in the form of a shake in Wiimake, I believe). But using a button (or two) as a shift/toggle button could easily solve a lot of things.

I think you missed a rather important note there.

The thing is, Biohazard Zero has less enhancements in the Wii version than Biohazard did (probably a result of the good couple of months between their releases). Hopefully, Resident Evil Zero will not just be a 1:1 English release of Biohazard Zero Wii (Wiiro) will contain the extra touches that were done to Biohazard (Wiimake).

Meh, not digging the cover. Wasn't fond of it the first time, not fond of it this time either. I mean sure, the JP Wii-make cover wasn't WONDERFUL (HUEG Jill with Chris in front of her), but I liked it more than this one. I mean, they could have at LEAST used the RE 4-style font for the title (since the JP versions used it from the original GC release), but I guess I shouldn't be asking for much. Oh well, better than nothing.

A couple new additions would have been really nice considering it's quite a few years that the game was originally released.

New costumes and weapons would have been lovely.

    Both Japanese versions had:
-480p support (GC version was 480i only)
    -GameCube Controller support
    -Classic Controller support
-Wii remote + Nunchuk Controller support

    Japanese Wiimake had:
-Widescreen aspect ratio fix (Adds vertical letterboxing to maintain the game's 4:3 aspect ratio if your Wii is set to widescreen)
-Wii Remote Controller support (hold the Wii remote sideways)

Feature added somewhere, but forgot if it was in Wiiro:
-When using Wii Remote + Nunchuk, you can set an option that allows you to tilt the Wii remote up/down to aim high/low)

Also, kinda nice cover there. I hope that the design of it means that more than just Wiimake and Wiiro will come out (and/or that evt. re-printed budget releases of Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil 4 will follow the same design)

It'd be best if the covers were like the New Play Control games, though (those covers are double sided. The default side is the "framed" New Play Control cover, while if you flip it, it's got full size front cover art and everything, like any original game release would have)
I'm sure the US and EU versions will bring those changes over, wouldn't make sense to add a bunch of (albeit tiny) enhancements and then remove them for the other markets.

Like the idea of those covers too!

There go Capcom again, wanting to make money. The swines! Pure and simple, the Resident Evil fanbase has exploded in size since RE4 and RE5. Factor into that you have the biggest console ownership, a bunch of games that're hard to track down now, and it makes sense that Capcom wouldn't want to do this.

REmake is the best RE game ever (with RE2 and RE3) I think the series should've ended with CV. I think the cover it's not impressive. Japanese cover version was better.
