Wentworth Miller is Chris Redfield in Resident Evil Afterlife

Honestly, I don't think anyone is ever going to like any one actor playing a Character...so its like pointless to criticize an actor before they have even done the roll. No matter the selection of actors, it seems everyone is negative about it. I for one enjoyed the movies for what they were. Not the best RE movies that could have been. but Id like to see anyone else here try to make the movie... I can't wait for this one!

It's my birthday I can bitch if I want to Seriously, it's not so much the actors that ruins it for me, hell I thought the casting in the first movie was good, which I actually liked. I starting hating the movies since Paul decided to give the second film to a first time director. I'm not even going to go into Alice beating up nemesis, but I think he should have kept the movie characters all original instead of throwing random ones in every so often. I'll give it as a chance as I've done with all the previous films, but... Anyways, just my opinion.

I really enjoyed Wentworth's performance in Prison Break so I'm not going to have any pre-conceptions of his Chris performance. The films are a separate (and worse) universe to the movies so it doesn't really bother me what they decide to do with Chris. Claire was nothing like her game counterpart and anyone who thinks this movie is gonna be any different deserves to be let down. I'm past the point of expecting much from the movies, but I think Wentworth is a good actor and has the voice and a similar appearance to Chris.

LMAO....Wesker is supposed to be in his 40's and the new actor Shawn Roberts is like younger than Miller so.....and Miller playing Chris? W......T......F.........WOW....just WOW!! I mean I loved Miller in Prison Break but Resident Evil? WTF!! No!!!!!!!!
I still think David Boreanaz looks exactly like Chris and is Muscular but not over the top like in RE5. see

^ I had expectations for the movies, and I wasn't shit out of luck.

Anyway, never really seen this guy act, but I have faith that Anderson will put him in a good role like the rest of the characters he has put on the cast.

Also, I don't know Shawn Roberts, but I really hope Wesker gets more "hands-on" like he said he would in Extinction. Wesker vs. Alice, especially if Wesker has his awesome superpowers, in 3D would be amazing. Expectation level raised.

Even discounting how unlike the games the movies have become, Alice is too overpowered. The zombies etc are no longer a threat, which removes any remnants of 'horror' from the film. They may as well be armed, human goons chasing her.

Why should he care about what you or the majority of RE fans think? His movies are very profitable and thus I'm sure that everyone who is working with him is very pleased. He won't stop making new RE movies when there are lots of people who want to see them.
