I'm under the impression that both of you might've been a bit immature. Since both of you kept dragging it out over multiple messages back 'n' forth. Also, there's a difference between throwing a direct insult towards someone and taking offense from someone saying they found something funny (something which was neither directed towards you, nor really affects you directly. Unless you're deeply traumatized and emotionally scarred by your friend's unfortunate situation.)

Sure, there's nothing wrong with telling someone you didn't appreciate it, but, again, you're the one that was deliberately throwing out a direct insult towards another member.

Anyway, let's drop this. I hate wall-typing. Don't be afraid to report stuff in the future if you feel something's not right.

So, let me get this straight;

1. Stu can't say he found someone's nervous breakdown (de la internet) funny.
-People don't have to take offense from everything. Especially not if it's not even directed to themselves. Thhat's how religious nutjobs try to justify their holy wars and stuff.

2. Alexia can't do her job as a mod 'cause she's being falsely accused of being Stu's "friend."
-She's a mod. She does her job good enough for us to let her keep on doing it. If she doesn't do her job properly, feel free to report it, but don't expect a world of change.

3. You can just do whatever you want, 'cause, to quote you, "Its a free country."
-Dunno which country you think this is, but if you're apparently under the impression that you're free to disagree with a mod saying you shouldn't be calling other people assholes... Then what makes you think it's not okay to express how they perceived an incident that took place here on the forums?

I really don't care whether you're happy with a decision or not. There is a world of difference between saying "I don't like your decision", and "I don't agree with your decision so that means you're bad at your job because my opinion is more valid than yours". What you are basically saying is I'm bad at my job because your opinion isn't the same as mine, which to be honest, is quite pathetic and immature.

Perhaps this is a new concept for you, but some people have the ability to percieve a statement in the context it was intended, rather than having to have it spelt out black and white to us as you seemed to need in that topic. That is why I told you off for flat out breaking the rules, and didn't tell Stu off, because me, as well as other staff and other members of the forum, read it in the context it was intended and weren't exercising our God given right to be offended at anything we like. Don't like it? Tough. Get over it and stop questioning my integrity in my job.

It's not simply an opinion, you are questioning my integrity in my job which then makes it a personal affair and a personal attack on my credibility. You have also yet not told me what you base your assumption on other than the situation where I gave you a slapped wrist for calling another member an asshole (where you should have had an infraction anyway, to be honest) and no other staff member saw fit either to punish Stu for what he said, because as I did, they read it in the context it was intended.

I am a fair mod. Why do you think no one else reprimanded Stu for what he said? Because it wasn't a violation of the rules. Your post calling him an asshole was a direct violation of the terms of service of this website, hence the rule "Do not insult other users". Omg, because no one else gave him any punishment, we must all be unfair mods! It's all a big conspiracy!

In context, I found nothing wrong with what Stu said. There were other staff who didn't either. When someone follows the correct channels, doesn't violate the rules themselves and I do have an issue with something someone has said (a.k.a Apocalypse saying Stu was picking on him in the Wrestling topic), I do say something, ie. like I mentioned to Stu in said Wrestling topic. When you yourself stoop to throwing insults, you're no better than anyone else because at the end of the day, he didn't break rules, and you did.
