it's not as if the ps3 / xbox 360 version of RE5 will notexist even if there will be a wii version. re5 with "good" graphics is there to stay. porting down to wii won't degrade re5 as a whole.

I really don't see what harm can cause to some people here if Wii will have RE5.

Yes. I think you have to press A or start on the Gamecube Controller in the title screen. I used the GC controller when I first played it.
