  • RE5 - Microsoft Conference Direct Feed HD

A direct feed HD version of the Microsoft Press conference trailer is now available. Its up on the Xbox 360 marketplace inside the conference files but I've taken the time to capture it and present it here. Since this version is much better than the off-screen Gamespot video, I've phased that one out and put this one in its place. It should be noted that this is NOT upscaled like the previous trailer, its actually running in 720p so this would be the definitive version to get if you could only get one.

SD versions of both trailers are coming soon.

Microsoft Press Conference RE5 Trailer Direct Feed HD Version:
    Jpg preview
    Download 1280x720 HD Trailer (1280x720, 49.2 MB)

Microsoft Press Conference RE5 Trailer Direct Feed SD Version:
    Jpg preview
    Download 640x360 SD Trailer (640x360, 14.9 MB)

Sony Press Conference RE5 Trailer Direct Feed SD Version:
    Jpg preview
    Download 640x360 SD Trailer (640x360, 11.5 MB)

As usual you will need to install an x264 decoder, Install this build of FFDSHOW and checkmark H264 decoding when installing. The file will not play in Quicktime because it doesnt support some of the advanced features that x264 has. You will need to open it in another player (Windows Media, Media Player Classic, VLC etc).

Big thanks to Archelon for letting me know it was on the marketplace!

What the hell then, Quicktime on Windows wont play it. Is it actually using the third party x264 install for you when you play it in quicktime?

I think so, even though it says "H.264, 1280 x 720, Millions" as the Video Format, I know I have a x264 codec installed.

I meant I'm converting it first then putting it on my PS3, the PS3 doesn't play hardly anything without converting first heh.
