New Resident Evil Extinction screens

Lol Besides Pirme is anyone looking forward to the movie?

I don't think it's going to turn out well, and they should just stop where they are, but I keep having hopes that maybe, just maybe it might turn out ok.

Hopefully this one will end with the message "now all the crap is out of the way, here's how the real story goes" and then there is a trailer for the new Resident Evil 1 movie with George Romero and Shinji Mikami as directors and set in the Arklay mansion. Then the movies follow on from there and become really good.

Following on that idea, what if all these movies were just a dream of an Umbrella Researcher? That would be a quick and painless way to nullify all that content and start a new (and accurate) storyline.

They could do that, but they won't. We all know they won't. Not in a billion years. The best they could do is some sort of spin off series after this trilogy finishes.

Perhaps some sort of flashback? After all, she's one of Umbrella's pet projects, so it's safe to say they have a good grip of her mind to mess around with...

That's possible, Flashbacks are frequently used lately in both movies and series. But IMO that's another mansion in this movie as Umbrella normally builds the similar construction all the time. So this should be the debut of the second one in the desert.

I know a few people that could think up this kind of stuff in their sleep, albeit, they are hardcore RE fanatics, so I guess that leaves them out... Well, then just think of what researchers dream about when they goto sleep: their experiments. It's plausible, just not very likely...

A replica Hive? That's crazy. I guess if you've been to one, you've been to them all...
