Don't know if anyone's seen this. We used to have a section about MGS on I think the forum one or two site changes before this.

Apparently, all real-time however most likely not running on actual PS3 hardware.

I read its running on the Alpha kits or whatever the fuck Kojima had, He said that "It will only get better" as he gets the Final Kits

Have you seen the camera recordings at TGS of the trailer? Holy shit...The game looks amazing. I cant wait for a HD version of it in direct feed.

I heard a fe w things:

That they plan on starting the game off with a little side stroy. You play as big boss. It's how he covers his tracks, and develops outter heaven. Then the game skipps forward.

I guess they're flling in plot holes. Proably because big boss will be in MGS 4 later on in ther serise. I don't know.

I think they need to remake the orginal NES games. That would be alsome. Give them the same engine as MGS 3, thats 30 million in the pocket right there.

I'm looking forward to this, albeit the older Snake, but I really would like to see how the older characters come into this futuristic warzone.

After seeing the 60 FPS direct feed version I gotta say Snake looks TONS better. It actually looks like snake in his 50's rather than what the other trailers make him look like (60+).

MGS 4 I think is coming OUT on PS3 first...but just like MGS 2 and soon 3. They will switch platforms. I can't wait to get Xboxes verson of MGS 3.

Accaully to to get this out. For the PS2. I think the best game that has come out of it is MGS 3. I don't know one that I like better for the ps2.

MGS3 isnt coming to any other console besides PS2 again (with subsitence). XBOX 360 is launching soon, so XBOX 1 would be a stupid platform to release it on.

Add in the fact that MS requires online games to use XBOX live, and that the PS2 versions online will be free, I doubt the team would re-tool the game for a dying system.

Backwards compatibility? The Xbox Live subscriptions carry over as well...

I loved MGS 1 & 2 and I got Snake Eater before release date. Yet I still havent played it really, I put it on played the monkey game and took it back out. I guess I was still very hyped about the PAL RE4 release even though I had been playing the JAP one for 2 month.

I will probably get around too it at some point. Alot of people seem to have mixed opinions on Snake Eater. Some love it, some hate it.

It takes a bit getting used to. I didnt really like it until I was a few hours in. The story really picks up after that. You should play it ;)

Snake Eater doesn't have the best story of the MGS games by far. That honer goes to the first. But it still has a great story and is indeed a great game. Give it another shot and force yourself to play through the whole game. It's worth it.

Every MGS game has a "someone pissing their pants" section as well. :p I think Kojima has some sort of water sports fetish.
