Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of my favorite movies of all time.

    Why?

As it is, it seems this is a rumour started by an angry ex without much by way of actual proof. The man's no saint but this one seemsto be wrong, anyway."

*shrugs* Could be. And him being a "kiddy rapist," if he even was one, has nothing to do with him being cool.

"no hes not...is he? if so i want proof please."

Where have you been the last 10 years or so? At any rate, it hasn't been proved, at least not that I know of. But soon after he was accused of it, he came out with a children's clothing line.
Oh my gosh. He makes children's clothes and a bitter ex accuses him of being one? Ladies and gentleman, you form the lynch mob, I'll go find a payed for head shrinker to attest that it's all his fault he was mobbed and killed.

I mean, hell, that's how pedophiles work, right? Half the time it's all the victims fault. Same with rapists. And they can be cool, so it should work for us. I mean they only violently force themselves on people, crush there spirit, damage there body (especially the little girls or boys - even three inches of fun will leave a plentiful supply of scaring) and, for that extra 'I'm super fucking awesome as a rapist, yeah!' cause some delicious and permanent mental scaring. Smells like Broken Teen Spirit, mmm.

Interesting ideas. Inhuman, sure, inexcusable, sure, and not partaking of any obvious redeeming factor, but in fairness that does not seem terribly unusual for you.

And yeah. I sent you a lovely message detailing, in detail, how to use the quotes system here. I'm sure you won't, even though several people and two or three mods have told you too now...which falls under the 'ignoring a mod' section in breaking the rules.

I mean, hell, you've managed to hit two of my biggest peeves...Neo Nazi's and pedophiles. So I don't need a reason to perma-ban you. Only an excuse.

he most likely didn't rape any children.

You said even if he was a child rapist, it wouldn't make any difference to him being "cool". I've never heard such offensive rubbish in all my time in the RE community, and frankly I find most of your opinions disgusting. I don't even know why you're still here.

I never said that raping children was cool. I do not support rape/pedophilia.
I simply meant that I liked Charley Sheen regardless of what he was accused of.

I watched S. Darko which was awful, really bad considering how good the 1st film was. You cant really make a sequel to a film like Donnie so I went in with very low expectations anyway but after watching the first 10 minutes I could tell it was going to suck. Please if your a fan of the 1st don't spoil it for yourself by watching this garbage.

I may see S. Darko for shits and giggles, because I saw Donnie Darko maybe 6 years ago, and I'm a little jaded from the cult status the film's achieved. It's not as precious as it used to be so I don't think I'll be affected by anything other than an objectively bad film, which is what you're saying anyway.

Man, Ferris Bueller's one of my favorite movies, I definitely know it more than The Breakfast Club, as good a film as that is.

"Pardon my French, but you're an Asshole! ASSHOLE!"

I just saw this Russian film Mirror, it's a stream of consciousness story about a boy's perspectives throughout prewwII, wartime, and postwar Russia. The focus is mostly on his relationship with his mother and wife and how it's affected him and the people around him. Excellent images and narration make a broken looking movie really interesting. Andrei Tarkovsky directed it, and I heard he's also done a couple of sci-fi adaptations (Solaris and Stalker the films are called), among others. This film was a good jump-off point for him.

Let me rephrase my opinion in a way for you people to understand...I like Charlie Sheen as an actor. I think he's a great actor. But I don't like him as a person.
Like I listen to Marilyn Manson. But I think he's a complete asshole.

I watched Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack a few nights ago, was kinda confused, but definitely impressed. Also, rented Kung Fu Hustle, started it, gonna watch the rest over the weekend. Plan to go see Star Trek next week.

I finally saw Star Trek last night and say it was a great movie and don't have anything bad to say about it. In fact its the best movie I have seen of this year. I never watched the show but watched all of the movies and this one is probably the best Star Trek movie I have seen.

Finally got around to seeing Kill Bill 1 and 2. Even though I don't like gory movies, and I knew what I was getting myself into, I actually really enjoyed them. The gore was over-done, and that's what made it so non-squeamish and unoffensive. Kill Bill 1 is definitely on my list of favourite movies ever.

I'm doing a podcast on Quentin Tarantino for a school assignment, so I'm gonna try and watch all his movies. My checklist:

Reservoir Dogs - Watched, will watch again
Pulp Fiction - Watched, will watch again
    Jackie Brown - Watched
Kill Bill: Volume 1 - Watched
Kill Bill: Volume 2 - Watched
Sin City - Need to watch
Death Proof - Watched, will watch again
Inglorious Basterds - Need to watch

Hopefully Inglorious Basterds will see an early-ish release in Australia.
