spoilers below
Spoiler:

Spoiler:
REALLY BIG SPOILER HOW IT ENDS!!!! DONT READ UNLESS YOUR NOT GOING TO SEE THE MOVIE!
Spoiler:
my only complaint was that, they wernt even handing out styrophome/ plastic
hockey mask out or even t-shirts which kinda pissed me off since it was a midnight showing
but i bet they will during the regular times tommarow (bull shit if they do)
and another thing that pissed me off was that there going to remake
"Last House On The Left" which is one of my favorite 80's horror movies just cuz it was so
cheesy but still, it shouldnt be ruined with another shitty remake. but thats just my opinion
thnx for reading my post if u read all of it
BTW! if u guys were wondering theres 4 or 5 sets of titties in the movie (thats just for the guys who
wanted to know how many boobies there was in the movie) oh and a small ass shot to![]()
watched zombie flesh eaters last night and god how crap it was >.< but it was also good if that even makes any sense. I also have watched taken which is an amazing film \m/
just saw both friday the 13th and cold prey, hope ot have a video up tomorrow night abotu my thoughts on both
Dr. Strangelove, which was a long time coming, being that Kubrick is one of my favorite directors anyway. What a tremendous satire, and George C. Scott couldn't have been any more insane. Lest we forget Peter Sellers's multiple roles.
Id take Skeleton Key anyday over that new Friday 13th oh my god what aload of trash. Im a fan of all the other films but this remake is straight up garbage. They try to build up a story from the get go and then dont mention it again. Jason has hardly no back story. It's all about some guy looking for his sis. I did not go to see this movie to see this idiot search the woods I went for Jason and to be honest he is hardly in the film. The ending was hella bad to. Was kinda gutted because I thought the TCM remake wasnt to bad, wasnt as good as the orig (They never are) but I think it stood on its on two legs. Friday the 13th just fell flat on its ass. 4/10. and thats only because it always nice to see Jason.
I hate slahser films. They're always so boring and prediectable. You can always tell.
he's gonna die.
he's gonna die.
She's gonna get cut in half.
She's gonna get laid.
He's gonna be decapitated.
he did it.
Etc.
I saw the new "Friday the 13th" yesterday, as I was always a big fan of Jason. "F13" & "A Nightmare on Elm Street" were the first two horror films I saw as a kid.
I've seen F13 Parts 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and bits and pieces of 1, 3, 7, 9, X. I've also seen F vs J. So I am not some newcomer to the franchise.
This new film, while underwhelming, was a welcome addition to me. Easily ranks in my top 3, along with 2 & 4. 6 is also decent, though the humor was offsetting. (And the James Bond parody of an opening...ugh.)
I found the new, aggressive Jason to be akin to a shark. Fast, brutal, efficient. He was violence incarnate.
The characters (victims?) all had some substance - not much - but they were more dimensional than your standard horror movie fare.
The film score was also well done, I believe. I know many pine for "ki ki, ma ma" every 15 minutes, but is it really necessary?
After seeing the garbage that is Parts 5, 8, 9, and X...how can anyone be disappointed with this film? This film was the equivalent to "The Godfather" when compared to the later entries in the F13 franchise. "Jason Goes to Hell" and "Jason X" are some of the most vile pieces of celluloid garbage that I have ever seen.
And Jason, as a humanized, brutally fast...almost "wild" animal...was refreshing. He didn't mess around. He just killed those that trespassed into his territory.
Now I think the pacing was well done, but it was almost too fast. I think they tried to cram too much into only 90 minutes. They should have made it about 105 minutes long, which is what they are rumored to do with the DVD release for the "unrated extended edition."
Anyway, this film was a much needed re-imagining to the Jason lore. He had become a laughing stock kind of enigma in his later iterations...I mean:
- teleporting Jason ("Takes Manhattan")
- demonic worm ("Goes to Hell")
- Cyborg Killer ("X")
- Lumbering Frankenstein afraid of water ("F v J")
Jason is back! Even in this slick, polished Michael Bay *shudder* produced film.
*EDIT: Ladies of the message boards, I do not mean to be offensive, but the actress who played the character of Bree in this film had the most exquisite pair of breasts that I have ever seen.

Nah didnt see that trailer nemesiswontdie. I never saw the original either I hear it has some "explict" scenes kinda put me off like "I spit on your Grave" and the more recent "Teeth". I hear they are also remaking The Thing, Nightmare On Elm Street and I'm sure theres more. Latley I've gone more towards tv shows than films dont think I have to explain why.
yha last house on the left is 2 good 2 be remade into a shitty movie, but who didn't c nightmare on elm street being remade? its obvious they were, but im not even gonna go see the thing if they remakie it cuz even i no its gonna b shit. but 2 jills boobs, u r rite my good man they were NICE!
Jill's Boob...I must know...is Friday the 13th better than that godawful Halloween remake? Because I have a great nostalgia for Friday the 13th (and like you, my favorite is Part 2; I've heard the sack returns in this one and I like that).
OH YHA it alot better than the halloween remake
but yes the sack makes its return for about 45 minutes then jason finds a
hockey mask after killing some funny redneck guy lol
but i agree
8,9 and X sucked balls
my fav is 3 and 4 tho
3, cuz i just thought it was good and jason's signature hockey mask makes
its appearence in it to
4 cuz it was the 1st jason movie i ever seen and i still love it to this day
but 5 sucked you cheer for jason untill the very end when you relize IT WASNT EVEN JASON IN THE DAMN MOVIE!
ITS SOME WANNA BE PUNK BITCH!
but 6 was funny as hell, i laughed through that whole movie cuz was haliarious![]()
Oh, the F13 remake pays homage to many of the previous F13 films. I really enjoyed it. You will too, as long as you go in without expecting it to be some sort of masterpiece.
As for the "Halloween" remake, I found that to be a very atrocious film. The whole extended backstory element with MIchael's childhood was unnecessary. Michael Myers (and all fictional monstrosities) work better as enigmas. Fleshing them out just causes them to lose their appeal, in my opinion. And, I think Rob Zombie is a terrible filmmaker. I actually had to shut off "The Devil's Rejects" half way through because it was like a bad snuff film. I didn't let that deter me from seeing his vision for Halloween, since I loved Carpenter's first 2...but his "reboot" sucked.
F13 (2009) is a great polished film, though underwhelming. And Jason is a fast, lithe, brutal terror. As I said - in this film he is violence incarnate. And the film isn't too gory, especially compared to crap like "Saw" and "Hostel," which are TOO disgusting.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop
4 WTFLOLNO's out of 10
The one thing I took away from this movie: Kevin James LOVES being fat.
mall cop suxed, 2 jills boob, i love the saw and hostel movies, lol there suppose 2 be gory which makes them so great
^Haha, I wasn't trying to say they are utter crap films (as I've only seen "Saw 1" but I have seen both "Hostels")...I was just saying those films have a lot of gore. And you know how if you have a pile of clothes in the corner, you say, "that crap over there?" Well it was like that.
But those films are examples of the way supposed horror films are nowadays - with ultra violence and explicit depictions of gore.
Now as for my opinion of "Saw" - it was ho-hum. I never had an urge to see any of the other ones. And the fact that they come out like once a year is kind of indicative of the quality, is it not?
And "Hostel" - Part 1 was decent, as was Part 2. But they're not films I would re-watch.
Just my 2 cents.
That's good enough for me, I may end up seeing it tomorrow
Just saw The Miracle at St. Anna. I can't understand where all the negative reviews are coming from; even if you compare it with Spike Lee's more recognized earlier films, it's distinct and well made.
Saw Zombie Strippers. Much amusement to be had.
