Just watched Death Sentence and Shooter. Shooter was an ok movie, the ending was lame.

i love shooter cause i love Snipers, so i love Sniper movies.

i would give shooter around an 8 or 9 out of 10.

and i just saw StarShip Troopers 3 as well, it was ok, no where near as good as the first one, ut better than the second though.

my only complaints are that it was to much about religion and not enough about killing bugs, and they really need to get a bigger budget next time, the specail effects were better in the first one even, but it was an ok movie, but some of the animation looks the same quality as a prerendered cutscenes in RE3, which annoyed me since it was made in 2008.

    StarShip Troopers 1 = 10/10

    StarShip Troopers 2 = 5/10

    StarShip Troopers 3 = 6.9/10

    "In Bruges"

I quite enjoyed this film and I'd throw it an 8/10.

But you're right, far too many 10/10s are being distributed. One of my favourite cop films would have to be Copland, also featuring Ray Liotta. Very good stuff, arguably Stallone's best film in my opinion. All that, plus Robert Patrick sporting a rather dashing moustache. But even then I wouldn't give that a full ten. There's also Lethal Weapon, which never fails. Avoid the sequels though, they simply lack the grittiness of the original - and Gary Busey. They went too far down the comedy angle with them.
Hahaha. I actually never thought of that before...hmmm...

Narc is filmed in a very gritty style, with handheld cameras (without all of the annoying swerving though), a unique filming style (using colour pallettes to describe the main character's personal life and how it's decayed over time), harsh and realistic dialogue. Very intense feeling throughout too. It's a shocker of a movie with a killer twist. It's also one of my favourite movies.

Cop Land is a great cop movie as well. Stallone's best movie and best performance with stellar supporting cast. Btw, what's your favourite Chrisopher Walken performance?

I saw not too long ago: Ghost Town, Eagle Eye, and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

    * Ghost Town was pretty funny.
    * Eagle Eye felt too much like Portal towards the end.
    * The Day the Earth Stood Still was pretty good and I could appreciate the differences it had with the original movie.

Interview with the Vampire. Superb film with a good plot and characters. Everyone also played their parts really really well even Banderas who was too old for Armand.

The Dead Zone, it's got Martin Sheen decorating the wall with his brains!

I finished watching Die Hard, always good for Christmas. I'm going to make it a tradition.

As I walked out of the cinema with my friend, I told him how much the computer reminded me of Glados. He thought about it for a second and called it a blatant rip off

    "The Last Picture Show" (1971)

Good classic. I love Cybill Shepherd.

It seems that the last three films I watched all had occurrences during Christmas. Now that is what I call spooky, but also good timing.

    The Spirit 6/10

The ass of Eva Mendes was the only highlight of the movie.

Saw "The Day The Earth Stood Still" today.

I felt that it was kinda... pointless. The bugs just come to Earth "oh yeah, let's just fuck up everyone's day for shits and giggles! Should be good! "

I suppose it was an okay movie though...

Just got back from seeing it.
I liked it and I don't see anything wrong with Cruise's performance like some have criticized.

Immersion is always important in any media be it books or games or movies. I definitely got immersed in this noble struggle. Sure I knew they were doomed but just seeing it all go down, seeing them so close to dethroning one of history's great butchers...it sucks you in.

I almost cried when they were put in front of the firing squad. Almost.

It's by no means a GREAT film but it's not bad IMO.
