Watched a screener of Transformers, 15 times, before I went to the movies. An epic and awesome movie. Transformers 2 on the other hand is nowhere near as good. It has a lot of logic and believability issues. Before anyone takes a cheap jab at the idea that a movie about transforming robots has "reality problems", let me be more specific.

In simple and short terms- Transformers, especially decepticons, seized to be a force that the viewer and characters in the movie see as a real threat to the protagonists.

Yeah i agree totally, There are a lot of issues and mistakes made in Transformers 2 which is a real shame since the first was so well done. It was like this was rushed out just to get some more cash or something. The Transformers were way less cool, and the bad ones were not even a problem, it was like it was a completely different series that the first film.

Also i had a problem with the sound, the movie's lack of a good soundtrack really hurt the film a lot. it needed a good soundtrack to accompany all the action scenes, without them most were kinda boring. Also the sound effect quality in general was not up to par either.

    I think I'm gonna go with 7/10.

I just saw a Dario Argento film, Opera. While some of the scenes had suspense (and minimal gore) and it was well shot and acted, I wasn't too into it. The ending was out there, but not in a good way. It's a "Giallo" (i.e. a stylistic thriller with a black gloved murderer and a character forgetting important information) film in a similar vein to some of his other works, such as Deep Red, Tenebre, and The Bird with the Crystal Plumage. I suppose the differences between those three and Opera are the plot and characters. I'd recommend Deep Red to anyone, it's one of the most well made 70s thrillers.

I saw Date Movie on Film4 when I was waiting for something to start on another channel. Saw it ages ago at cinema and actually liked it, saw it on Film4 and hated it.

Christ, I hope to god Alyson Hannigan did it because she needed the money.

Date Movie is absolutely terrible. Saw it once on DVD and hated it, still have it on DVD and never watched it again. Just a rip off of Scary Movie.

I don't care if it's a chick flick, it's an incredibly happy film. It's always good.

Nothing wrong with chick flicks. I'm manly enough to cry a little too at some movies.

Crying during some movies is perfectly healthy.

    Remember The Titans
, for one...that movie always chokes me up near the end:

    "Left side."

    "...strong side."

Like Epic movie, meet the spartans, and a bunch of other shitty films to, there's millions of them. One for every genre now.

    I disagree so much.

I just watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade again with my friend last night cause he had never seen it. It's such a great movie, i love every second of it. I think a 5th Indy film would be good.
