I just saw Bruno and it was SO funny. There wasn't longer than a five minute gap that I didn't laugh. I also didn't really see what people were talking about it being offensive. As a homosexual, I thought it was really entertaining.
But then again, I do have a pretty solid sense of humor.
While it's a very fascinating movie, and I'd say it was pretty good too, the plot gets thick and a bit confusing. Satoshi Kon is a masterful director, but many of his other films, including Paprika, have to do with the line between fantasy and reality, like dreams vs the real world. Very interesting nonetheless. Worth a look up in Wikipedia or Google.
I just watched The Jackal, id seen it once before but it was a long time ago. it's a very good movie. It's about a guy who is an assassin and another guy who is trying to stop him. I wont spoil it all though. Just watch the movie.
I also watched Zoolander and that movie is so funny. Ben Stiller is a great director and a great actor too. It's a timeless movie.
I also re-watched Alien 3. it's ok but not as good as the first two films which are superb. The use of CGI on the alien really hurt it in some parts I think. And the overall story just kinda didn't fit. Also it was a little to focused on action and not enough on horror. Nevertheless it was still a good film in it's own right. Just not as good as the others by a long shot.
I don't think the Alien in Alien 3 was as threatening as in the previous two films, since it was a lot smaller, and seemed less vicious and powerful. Also CGI. Although I did like how it salivated a lot, and I liked the scene were it confronted Ripley drooling all over her.

Next I'm going to watch Alien Resurrection.
The Runner was much faster and agile. It didn't need strength. As for watching Resurrection, god no. Do not do that. That movie is such utter shit.
I recently watched Perfect Blue, that movie was creepy as hell. Some weird stuff.

Yeah I know, but it just didn't have the same effect as the regular Aliens in the last two films had. It wasn't, scary enough. And the fact that half of it's scenes are just CGI renderings really hurt it I think. I still think the runner was cool. Just not as cool as regular Xenomorphs.
Same with the Predalien thing in AVP2. That was probably the most lethal creature in the series yet it was pretty crappy.
Ive seen Resurrection before. I'm just re watching them all cause I haven't seen them in a while.

I actually like The Runner. Not as awesome as The Grey but still. As for AvP, both movies suck. I put them on the same level as Resurrection. I despise Resurrection. I found Alien 3 to be much better. Everything about Resurrection left me angry and confused.
They clone Ripley? Okay, not super original but okay. But...somehow cloning her also brings back the alien queen in her from 3. What? That also makes the alien queen part human and thus it gives birth to the stupidest creation ever. The Newborn. Wait...WHAT?
Ron Perlman was the only good thing about Alien 4.
I didn't think Borat was that funny even the first time around. It's overrated I think.

I liked Winona Ryder in it too.
The Runner was cool, I agree. But not as scary IMO. I'm gonna watch Resurrection later tonight and form my opinions on it then.

I just watched Alien Resurrection again. I think that it's better than Alien 3. Alien 3 is the weakest in the series IMO. But still ok.
It was quite different than the rest in the series. but it was also kind of like a reflection of Aliens in some parts. Alien and Alien 3 both had no weapons, Aliens and Alien Resurrection both had a team of soldiers/mercs in them.
Also I think this must of been because of the french influence but it was interesting that when the Ripley clone was made, and when she woke up she was covered by a thin veil. And then she broke out of it from the inside, kind of foreshadowing that she was also an Alien or like them.
Also it was interesting how in Aliens, Ripley was wary of Bishop because he was an android, and claimed her was dangerous and should not be going on the mission. But later bishop saves them and then ripely ends up trusting him. Then in Resurrection, Winona Ryder who is an android, says Ripley should be left behind and not come with them because she is possibly to dangerous and could turn on them. But later, saves there lives, and they both become friends later.
I liked Winona Ryder in the film, and every time I saw her I could not help but think of Rebecca, should would make a great Rebecca.
But that human looking Alien at the end was kinda weird, though it was a bit scary too.
Also I just want to add. I think Resurrection did a superb job on the Aliens, I loved the scene were the Alien was staring at the scientist through the glass cage. When all the saliva was dripping from it's mouth. Very well done. Although they used some CGI scenes too, it was much better than in Alien 3. But still not that great. I think this was also the first time we got a good look at a regular Aliens feet as well.

Let me start out by saying that I never read the books. My 5th grade teacher started reading the first one in class one day, but then stopped altogether. I saw the first Potter movie and wasn't too enthralled by it, but I continued to see the movies anyway, and got more and more into it as the movies came out...and H-BP is easily the best one yet.
The actors(namely Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson) have all gotten better with age. Radcliffe still leaves something to be desired, but Emma Watson was as good as ever. She truly makes it so easy to love Hermione.
Some scenes were just plain epic...best example would be the scene in the cave when Harry is being dragged under water by the corpses/whatever the hell they were, and then suddenly here comes Dumbledore with a fucking fire tornado that would make Satan jealous. So, so awesome.
And then...the scene at the top of the tower. "Avada kadavra!" I knew it was coming...but it was still pretty upsetting. Dumbledore was an extremely likable guy and a true bad-ass. I didn't read Deathly Hallows yet and I don't intend to, so I have no fucking clue how Harry will find the remaining horcruxes and defeat Voldemort. Dumbledore's been there each step of the way, and now Harry is on his own(so to speak).
A friend of mine who reads the books was upset about what they left out(as usual) and spoke of a fight that took place in Hogwarts between the Death-Eaters and the students. That would've been nice to see, but, oh well. The movie was two and a half hours.
I'm kind of happy that I never read the books, now. Once the remaining two movies are released, I'll be glad to go back and read them and see what was left out, but for now, I'm excited that I have no idea what happens in the 7th book and two final films.

I can't wait for November 2010.
Spoiler:
You might be glad now but once you read the books you will be sad. The Best potter movie was 3 because it had an alternate ending from the book that was quite interesting. But the book was still better. None of the movies have ever come close to the books ever. And I cannot believe they cut out the Death Eater fight in Hogwarts that part was awesome. If you watch the movies then read the books it's not gonna have the same effects because you already know what is gonna happen. I seriously advise if you like Harry Potter read Deathly Hallows before you see the film just so you can read at least one of the books before seeing the films. The last HP movie cut out so much the story barely made sense. I wonder what they cut out in this one apart from the death eater fight.
Anyways, I just watched Predator again and it was bloody awesome. I love the build up, when they first discover the crashed chopper and the skinned bodies and wonder what the hell is going on. And how they think it could be Guerrillas but slow they realize that they're being hunted. A superb film. Except some of the Predator's cloaking effects seem very dated now, thy haven't aged well. A Great action film with lots of suspense. I still like the Alien series better but Predator is great too.
I whach James Cameron's Titanic again yesterday man I love that film the love intrest in the flim is great the idea of a 1st class person falling in love with a 3rd class person aka poor person is great it goes to show anyone can fall in love it does not matter if your rich or poor but saying that both Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio both fitted parts and the music in the flim is brillant and sad I hardly have any tears when whaching a flim but Titanic all ways gets to me.

I love Titanic, it's such an underrated film. it gets a lot of hate for no reason.
I love everything about the film Titanic is was superbly made and directed. James Cameron is brilliant. I love all his films.
I saw the new Harry Potter film it was ok not the beast in the series but alot better to the last one but there was so much from the book removed in the film I was really upset with that but it was alright 8/10 I hope the last one aka two parter film if much better it should be it's the final film they better bring out the big gun for the next one.
