I think they should have started making the movies in two parts at the 5th one. The books are simply to long for a decent part of the plot to be fitted into a 2 hour movie. Glad to see that they did good with this one. But HP5 was atrocious with the plot. So much was cut out of it. What was cut out in the new HP film?

The Hangover. The best comedy of the last decade IMO.

I disagree. I thought the Hangover was decent, but not exceedingly funny.

I just watched Predator 2. It was pretty good but took a little while to pick up on the story aspect I think. Or maybe its cause I kept being interrupted during the first half of the movie. I hate being interrupted.

It was very good, about as good as Predator 1. I did like how it added so much more to the Predator universe and was well filmed too.

And that sex scene was pretty cool to lol.

I think Alien is the better series though. I'm gonna watch Alien Directors Cut next. And see the differences between it and the regular version of the film.

Transformers 2 was just a bore for me. No real plot, just lots of explosions. Land of the Lost was actually really good and quite funny.

It's a real shame because Transformers 2 could have been really good if it had more of a plot. But Bay just used all two hours of the film for every explosion he could think up off.

Anyone dishing Mike Bay for his movies should seriously reevaluate their movie library. Anyone looking for massive Frank Darabond-esque substance from Bays movies needs to stop watching movies altogether and just stick to Resident Evil, which doesnt even know what it wants to be anymore.

I just watched "The way of the gun"

Best firefights since Heat, a peculiar plot, really immersive character interaction and a lot of likeable characters on both side of the fence. The soundtrack, although a little flawed here and there (as in, a few amateurish bits in an otherwise great musical buildup) is still very fitting, dramatic and immersive aswell.

I think it's unfair to judge a filmmaker based on expectations. People have done, and could do a hell of a lot better with an action film, whatever the basis. Transformers was a forgettable movie in my opinion.

Finally saw Watchmen. Thought it was all right, but nothing spectacular. Haven't read the graphic novel, though.

The graphic novel is very good and much better then the movie. I read the whole thing and wasn't disappointed.

I just saw Che part 1, as well. It was...interesting, to say the least. It's just sad they could never really apply their ideals, which wanted to be done with good intentions, the way they hoped to, which was to do good.

Communism is just not compatible with human nature. We are inclined to abuse power.

I saw Pineapple Express yesterday and I really didn't find it as funny as everyone says it is. I went in with high expectations, and came out barely satisfied. There were some parts that made me laugh, and there were some parts that made me chuckle. Over all, I'm not impressed. Maybe it's just not my kind of movie.

Final Fantasy Advent Children Complete well I kept it short the film was the same as the origial one but with an extra 26 mins added to the film but those 26 mins really changed the look of the film it did not feel like it was been rushed and the film felt much darker and there was dirt and blood added to the charaters as well and there's more depth into Geostigma as well as how Denzel came to live with Cloud and Tifa and more detail into Kadaj there some sences re actored again to make more sence and fight sences were exteded so yeah there more plot in this film and it make the original one look really bad im going to give a rating on both to show how much of an inprovment the film has went.

    Original5/10

    Complete9/10

P.S Buy this film if you have not bought it yet Cloud Bleeds

I just watched the first Alien film again. Except this time I watched the 2003 Directors Cut version of the film.

The Directors Cut was ok, but not as good as the original theatrical version. I feel that is messed up the pacing a bit. It was still very good though. And I liked the extra scene where Ripely goes down to the lower deck and finds the captain and other crew members all strung up on the walls with the Aliens goo around them.

I think the DC version was good, but not as good as the original 1979 version.

I'm gonna watch Aliens Directors Cut version soon.
