A quick note - the topic has a typo. It says www.residentevi.com
All very interesting. But the 72 hours is only 3 days. The count down already shows 18 hours gone. So this count down will expire well before the 31st??

Yeah, that's probably the culprit then. I'm not a big user of flash so this was my real first time reading up on it :-\
I'm using the same decompiler I've been using for years: Sothink SWF Decompiler. I've been using it for atleast 3 years since I remember using it when the RE4 SWF's came online.
Has anyone tried to extract it, then convert it to .avi or something?
That's right, Dot. Try using Hypercam: http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/ (works as a freeware too ;) )
Alright, I did it by myself:
you can dl the clip from here:
http://www.residentevil.it/public/re...28553#msg28553
DL link and password are under the big white arrow ;)
Enjoy!
Interesting, but that's not the "real" video inside the SWF file, there is the black mask that hide the rest of the scene (but that doesn't means that in the rest of the scene there is something great eheh)
I've taken some snapshots of the full clip, you can see them in small version (for now) here![]()

The black mask is there because this video is positioned over the screen of the bus.
EDIT: Ok, I mis-understood. You aren't missing much though![]()

Here is a bigger frame of that video:

Ok, the extraction still doesn't do good. We can record our videos and upload them, but I had to use a phone camera-lol.
Haha. Guys, just realized something.
That's not a bus. It's just a small house/hut/some sort of restaurant and they just have cut-up tires on the cross-walk on the side(like you can evidently see many other tires on the roads in E3 trailer, apparently, they use them as benches/something to sit on.
It's not a bus, just a small building or house; and the African walks there, talks to someone and returns.
Either someone is hiding somewhere recording this, or someone hid a camera to let this record and then they can watch it later.
The camera wasn't hidden there on purpose - it's front glass (don't know if this the proper word) is broken, so that means it was dropped there.
But, look at the possibilities:
When the B.S.A.A. members were dropped(say they were), and they had to fight through some Africans while Chris explored his own area, maybe the camera got damaged. Now, knowing that they would die anyways, one of them left his camera in a corner so it can record anything, and that anything might come to use later on. He would hope someone like Chris would come across it, and find it, and watch the whole recording.
Or it could just be that there was a fight here, and the camera fell off of one of the BSAA members, or Chris himself.
Or maybe this was indeed the place where Chris is submissioned, and he drops the camera.
But that place is a different angle from the area where in the E3 trailer, the camera zooms out on Chris. Look on the building to the far left, and then on the site, on the far left. They match, and the hut/building that we thought as the bus as well is there.
The only other cameras in the series that we really got to look through that were in the field were the shoulder cams that we saw on Frost and Sullivan...
i can't make out the other words but that building says butchery. so we get to go through a slaughterhouse? that'd be cool!
It says: YAMY BUTCHERY
Obviously, it's a butchery store, so yes, we would go through a slaugherhouse of some sort, the kitchens/basements, something.
So is Yamy a name of the butcher, the owner, the region?
Perhaps its a play on the Japanese word, "Yami" which means darkness?

And dont you think it is some kind the site's animated menu. Like artwork or screenshot menu and when you choose what do you whant to see this african dude starts to walk on background. Like on some dvd's menu.
The action script in the flash doesnt show this to be true. Perhaps things will change as the counter keeps ticking closer to the end point, but until then all we can really do is speculate as to what will happen unless the flash files are changed between now and then...
so I see the 72 hour contdown, but why is there a counter going up?? is that counting up to 72 hours??
That's what it's doing at the moment. At the moment, it roughly has about 24 hours before it reaches the 72 hour mark.
