i stopped watching Lost after i realised it sucked when the island sank a while ago. So what happened now? The island got obducted by aliens that live under the sea in another dimension?

half the losties are in 2008, half the losties are in 1978, the one's in the past blew up a hydrogen bomb, and locke is apparently dead since season 4, some other Jacob-like superhuman has been faking being locke for the sole purpose of getting to jacob.

oh and btw the final episode was Jacob centric, featured him visiting the losties at various points in their life (visits sawyer when his parents die, visits saeed just before his wife gets killed, visits locke just after he gets tossed off the building etc etc), and in the end the fake locke forces Ben to stab jacob when all of them finally meet in real-time.

and that's about how it ends.

when Ben "moved" the island and some losties left the island, there was some sort of energy loose, that transported the characters in time, going back and forward, and when Lock got off the island (the same way Ben did, by "moving" the island) the time traveling stoped, and so they stayed in 1978. And then, when the losties that got off the island returned (in a plane), some of them magicaly traveled in time to 1978 and the others stayed in the "present"....

Yeah i should, i watched up until season 4, but the TV station that shows it here didn't advertise when season 5 was starting and decided to put it on at 11 PM and i missed it cause i had no idea it was on. but thanks for explaining it.
