Okay, here we go, post your finishing times!!!
Mind you, these were my first ever playthroughs of the games without walkthroughs.

Silent Hill: 5 hours 13 minutes.
Silent Hill 2: 11 hours 42 minutes.
Silent Hill 3: 3 hours 01 minutes.
Silent Hill 4: (Not Finished)
Silent Hill Origins: 4 hours 10 minutes
Silent Hill: Homecoming: (Don't Have)

Just want to compare times. Give it a whirl!

I don't pay attention, usually. I play for the story, and tend to take my time with things. Once, however, I did a speedrun of SH2, and it took me... I think it was 1 hour and 19 minutes.

I record my times for personal enjoyment and memory reasons.
Basically its just fun for me haha, Its real fun though to compare your times and beat them afterwards, my second playthrough of Silent Hill Origins was 1 hour and 20 minutes, and my SH3 was like 2 hours, man, I played that 5 times in a row...

What's interesting that I noticed about SH1 (I dunno if this is true for the other ones), is that it stops the timer during the cinematics, so you can still watch the cutscenes without gaining extra time.

Silent Hill: just played it once and didn't even got through half of it (it was like less than 3 minutes)
Silent Hill 2: 7 horas 23 minutes
Silent Hill 3: 4 hours 41 minutes
Silent Hill 4: in proces (I think this one will be a long game for me)
Silent Hill Origins: 4 hours 35 minutes
Silent Hill Homecoming: STILL waiting for it

I take my time in games, and you don't want to see my Resident Evil finishing times, hahahahahaahahahaha!!!

Yeah, but are those your first playthroughs? Or your latest playthroughs?

oh... your right, I just checked the onlly saved game-result I had of SH2, I think SH2 was like 11 hours, it was my first SH game. SH3 is that time, because I've onlly beaten it once (I'd put Pause for ANYTHING). The Origins is 4 hours (the problem is the game doesn't save a game-results file, I knew that from a friend, so I had to wright it when I finished, when I'm wrighting something for my self I right numbers in bars, and now I see I didn't count one bar), sorry.

I don't usually keep track of how long it takes me to beat games. But I beat Resident Evil Deadly Silence today in 5 hours 6 minutes 31 seconds total.

...which has no relevance in the Silent Hill section, I'm afraid. None at all.

My best time on SH1 was 1:37 on hard with the good+ ending. Sadly that was many, many moons ago.
