Haha, home is the PS3 version of Second Life.
How much MB is the download? or should I say GB for that beast lmao.
I'll just wait for full release.

Acrtually, the download itself is only 78 MBs or so. But then every additional room you download (bowling alley, mall, etc) requires extra space. But they're downloaded separately from the core file.

Yeah, it's not nearly as big as I thought it would be. Actually, after the install and downloading the actual rooms and everything... Right now, my total file size is 3 gigs.

I'm actually expecting HOME to be a colossal disappointment. Very underwhelming. Considering all of the hype that's been built up around it, and how long it's taken to develop, it wouldn't surprise me if it flopped. Phil Harrison's dream of this so-called "Game 3.0" is dying on its arse, Sony really dropped a bollock with this whole idea. Never been a huge fan of HOME to begin with, just think how much time could have been better invested in creating games.
                  See you in hell.

Sounds okay, but that doesn't mean it will be.

Well it all depends. I mean, if it is as it is, and there's no subscription fee, you'll definitely find me on home, interfacing, and playing that odd game of pool or bowling. Maybe finding people to play online games with.

From what I've heard, the majority of beta testers aren't impressed.

Well, I really don't know what they were expecting then. It's got minigames and stuff at the bowling alley. The interface is easy to use. The loading times are reasonable. The animations are nice. The graphics are really nice. What were they expecting? All the gameplay features of The Sims?
