The MMO really ruins KOTOR continuity as its set 500 years after KOTOR2, so it won't even cover what happened to Revan or the Exile in the unknown regions.
So hopefully deliberately moving it so far ahead yet being vague of the past few centuries in the back story leaves some possibility of a full single player campaign for KOTOR3, i'd have loved seeing a mix between KOTOR's battle system and the Mass Effect exploration system.
