That has to be the most bizarre statement I've read in a while It's a 360 demo, for the Japanese market, where the matter of sales and popularity is irrelevant for the console (for Capcom alone, comparing DMC4 figures doesn't favor the 360 there). Even if that were the case, it's a demo and not a full version.

Some people who on the fence about picking up a console for the game in Japan will likely go for a 360 to try out the game sooner than later. So if MS Japan arranged this, IT IS a smart move given the few surges in sales recently with a price drop and good software.

I reckon the PS3 demo will be out in late Dec or early Jan.

If it is a 'timed-exclusive' to 360 (I'm not convinced it will be but if it is), then off course it is because Microsoft have paid $$$. If it was about popularity, it would only be on PS3, because in Japan PS3s outnumber 360s by about 10 to 1. In fact, if it is true it would be because of the pathetically small popularity of the 360 in Japan. Otherwise MS wouldn't bother paying for the advantage.
These tactics certainly don't work with me. I'm not tempted to buy a 360. It has the opposite effect. Making me hate MS even more and makes me even more determined to never buy a 360. Never, EVER!

As for the Biohazard 5 limited edition. I'm a bit disappointed. It's okay and I wouldn't mind having it but I was expecting to see it and think, "OMG, I HAVE to have it!". I like the big black box and the art book but the memory stick: meh... and the 'pouch': WTF?!
I guess I was hoping for a new action figure.
I think I'll hold off and see what some of the other regions get in their C.E. and L.E.s.

I shouldn't have commented on that, but anyway. Food for thought, we're numbers to all corporations so that's something to keep in mind.

You're probably on a PC using MS software, so relax.

We shouldn't rule out the possibility that MS Japan approved the demo faster than SCEI, so Capcom decided to get it out sooner. Anything is possible, and the earlier post of mine was a mere guess given current 360 performance in Japan.

In the end, this is just a demo. It's not going to show anything beyond what we've seen so far. RE4 with prettier graphics.
