I know squat about proxy servers, IP addresses, etc. But I guess there are protection measures in place in case someone tries to hack personal accounts? (Like with what happened to Alexia? I'd hate for some pederass or overzealous nut to access my account and/or email address.)

There isn't really, if you have an easy to guess password. I only knew about it because I got an e-mail after 5 failed access attempts, and I gave the I.P to Dot. If I'd had an obvious password he'd probably have gotten into my account. Unlucky for him it's full of numerical characters

But why does he even try to hack our accounts?
That makes no sense... Hacking an Ebay Account, okay illegal,
but somehow understandable. But why an account on a page
like this?

So he can access the board and cause trouble using someone else's account. It's a childish thing to do and he's immature enough to do it.

That's really very childish...
And seemingly there's no real way to ban him. If he get's banned
he uses another proxy or tries to hack other peoples account.
The only way I see is, that Dot has to accept every account request
this page gets. So he can decide who can enter and who cannot.
